Nothing wrong with being a Cruz supporter. Ted and Donald are on the same page.
The more I learn about Trump, the more I suspect the above is wishful thinking.
One of the things that was so appealing about Reagan was his humility -- a Godly quality critical in a true leader.
Here's Trump last week smugly boasting "Ted Cruz is now agreeing with me 100 percent."
HANDWRITING and WALL, folks.
Trump is on record supporting some Syrian refugees in the U.S. on Sept. 8. The next day Ted Cruz went public (scandalizing liberals, as you see at the link) urging NOT to resettle Syrian refugees in the U.S. --
-- and what do you know, but that very same day Trump started backing off on his statement of the day before, falling more in line with Cruz.
Of course, it could be that Cruz didn't make that speech that day until he heard Trump first ... and if you believe that ... well, as PT Barnum said, "There's a sucker born every minute."
"Same page," I doubt it. But Trump sure wants you to think so.
