Donald Trump's notorious Twitter presence landed him in a little hot water with segments of the internet commentariat Sunday with a tweet about black-on-black crime.
Trump appears to have been arguing that the new national focus on criminal justice reform is perhaps misguided, as most slain African-Americans are killed by other African-Americans, not police officers.
Trump's argument and the graphic he shared immediately drew the ire of some thinkers.
Some argued that Trump was pandering to sentiment that was already prevalent within the Republican base.
Additionally, some took exception to the veracity of the claims in Trump's graphic, arguing particularly that the "whites killed by whites" number of 16 percent is actually far too low — that most white people murdered in the U.S. are killed by other whites, in numbers lower, but more similar to the black-on-black rate.

My take on his positions is that the man has bet his very life on his campaign positions. Can we expect any more of a patriot? How much different is it than the men who founded this nation and bet their very lives, Families and fortunes? I know, what the founding fathers did eventually in building our nation, but given time and what this man has risked so far, I’m more than convinced of his sincere belief in what he says.

You know you are on target when the flak gets thick.
It won't hurt Trump though. The other numbers are in the ballpark and when verifiable numbers come out the black on black and black on White crime statistics shock a lot of people.
