"In my opinion, Ben Carson's statement dismissing Terri's life as 'nothing,' and Jeb Bush's failure to take action to save Terri, has disqualified them both from the office of president." Exactly right.

When is Dr. Carson going to blame the attack media for asking him a “gotcha’” question? (sarcasm)

Carson lost me with his endorsement of statehood for Puerto Rico, so this just adds one more nail in his coffin.
And Bush’s (and his brother “W”’s) response to poor Schiavo was nothing short of disgusting.
Besides, Bush would make a better Democrat candidate than Republican.

Terri’s situation was a serious matter. Carson shouldn’t have trivialized it (if he actually did).
However, the entire nation didn’t need to be brought into the debate over what to do.

The fact that he was referring women to get abortions disqualifies him, in my mind. This bit about Terri just supports the idea that he is not, and never has been, pro-life.

Absolutely. The words Carson spoke about Terri absolutely disqualify him.
Terri was NOT DYING. She died only because she was murdered.
The Governor of Terri’s state let himself be intimidated by a pipsqueak probate judge. The Governor hid under his desk while a murder was carried out over a period of days and days. The Governor permitted POLICE to be used to threaten with arrest any person giving Terri a drop of water. (Just as EVERY Governor of EVERY state, for forty-two years, has permitted the police to threaten, and to arrest, anyone attempting to rescue a baby from murder.)

The Legal Industry murdered Terri Schiavo and Carson says it was not important.
Go away, I will not vote for you.

A large *AMEN* to that statement.
This, alone, tells all WTP need to know about the ‘men’ who wish to lead.

It shows a lack of compassion and value for human life. I have not yet seen Jeb questioned about Terri Schiavo. I would have expected at least somebody would bring it up unless I have missed it.
To repeat: Terri Schiavo was murdered.

I just read this in a pro life publication, I came here to comment on it.
Was in the last couple of months someone here disagreed with me when I said that Jeb Bush was on the wrong side of the Teri Schavo case.
I remember it very well and Jeb caved absolutely, so I agree with this statement
Operation Rescue President Troy Newman said that Carson’s statement, and then-Florida Governor Jeb Bush’s last-minute actions, disqualified both men from becoming president.
To: wagglebee
Jeb Bush issued the appeal at 8:15 a.m. on Saturday, March 26, 2005. Gov. Bush ordered the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) to enter the Hospice House Woodside in Pinellas Park and reinsert her feeding tube at that time. But when city police and county sheriff's officials stood their ground, he reversed himself. ¡Jeb! actually was for reinserting the feeding tube, before he was against it...
"Makes sense to me!"

Multiple threads on “We must support the execution of Terri Schiavo because ...” with both old and new murderous supporters popping up.
Oddly enough they all seem to like Jeb Bush and/or Ben Carson, but really will vote for whomever the Democrat candidate is.
Trial balloons?
Hey Jeb, you have zero chance of winning any elective office, ever again.
And you can take your friends Marco and Ben with you.
All of you can go hang out with Charlie Crist!
If nothing else, you could make some money on a youtube parody regarding fakes and tans...LOL!
