Cruz-Trump works better for me.
Cruz/Palin is better, but we take what we can get.
I would be FIRED UP for a Trump/Cruz ticket. I would volunteer, canvas neighborhoods, man phone banks, drive the elderly to the polls-anything to help get them into the White House.
Kinda like I used to do for Republican candidates until I was certain the Republican party had left me for some kinder, gentler mushy mealy for of progressivism.
Palin as Secretary of Interior in the Trump cabinet.
I like Palin and I’d vote for her as a Presidential nominee... but she should NEVER, EVER again let herself be put in the VP spot.
She was too got for that the first time, and still IS.
I wonder who Cruz will pick for his VP?
Truthfully, that might not be a good thing.
To start with, this means a minimum of four years of Cruz sitting on his thumbs, while the Republican establishment plotted to prevent him from ever becoming president. As VP, Cruz would have less practical power than even that of a senator.
As an alternative, Trump should appoint Cruz to the Supreme Court. McConnell would probably agree solely to get Cruz out of his hair.
But as a justice on the court, replacing a liberal, likely Ginsburg, he would make that entire branch of government conservative. No longer would justice Kennedy be able to play his swing vote game.
He would be on the court for decades, being only 45 years old, and because he is a brilliant legal mind, he would be very persuasive to the other justices.
So, all told, his power as a justice would rival that of being president, and last a lot longer. It would also mean that states could launch many lawsuits against the federal government that would get a favorable hearing, increasing their power at the expense of the feds.

I, too, prefer Cruz on the top of the ticket.... however, if Cruz is elected P or VP I will be pushing Allen West for Texas Senator !!
Just WOW! You are insane.
Cruz would make an excellent VP for President Trump.
Cruz is a brilliant lawyer & great speaker/debater, a perfect fit to Trump’s economic sense & personal magnetism.
He’s backing away a little from the “I’ll go after CRUZ if he gets close to beating me” statement.
He has to win first. The extant and prospective election fraud bids fair to prevent that.
Hm. BA**S AND BRAINS could be their bumper sticker.
I’m not ready to change my tagline, though Trump is #2 on my list.
I think Cruz has actually been angling for this as he is the one GOP candidate who has been more or less hands-off with Trump.
Cruz is a martyr not a winner? What does that even mean?
I would prefer Cruz as President and do not think a Trump/Cruz ticket is a high probabilty, but I have thought that this would work too. Trump is much more media savvy and knows how to generate national press. However, the Cruz campaign is the best organized and has the local ground game prepared. Cruz is also backed financially and Trump has made his fortune leveraging other people’s money and not burning through his own. From that sense the fit would be good. And, let’s face it, Reagan’s greatest failure was allowing the elder Bush to be forced as his running mate. It gave the whole Bush dynasty credibility when the oldest Bush should have just been allowed to fade away and take his family with him into semi-obscurity. If it does end up a Trump/Cruz ticket at least the number 2 spot would be a conservative rather that a RINO.
