May I propose that Freepers pledge a daily prayer for Donald Trump for his protection?
Think of his enemies: El Chapo and his henchmen and La Raza, ISIS and their legions, Soros and the Globalists, Wall Street, the Democratic Party, etal.
So much hinges on this one man, and everybody is increasingly aware of this. May we simply ask Almighty God to protect Donald Trump from harm each day?
Dear Father, you have trusted Donald Trump with vast resources and leadership skills. And You are on the verge of trusting him with the highest office. Protect and guide him so he may carry out Your will. In Jesus name.

It so happens I know a fair amount about Hindu beliefs and still don’t think this is helpful, mainly because it’s wrong. I respect the people (and frankly a lot of them are more spiritual than Christians, which should make Christians blush). I reject the specific beliefs.
We got a snippet of a radio show where he retorted that (he actually said he tries not to do things needing forgiveness, which isn’t quite the same thing as never needing it) in response to a question from a reporter, which he probably trusts about as much as a mongoose trusts a snake. Donald’s way of evading a hostile gotcha.
I’d be curious what Donald would have to say to a friendlier interview from someone like Billy or Franklin Graham.
I understand that while there is an outside chance that Cruz or Carson could get elected, neither is capable of actually changing anything. Carson is just too strange, and Cruz is still beholden to donors and is still confined by the GOP establishment. Only Trump, with his financial and party independence, stands a chance of stopping what is going on.
It’s going to be hard to get through to someone who is simply enamored of how much he knows, until circumstances force him to admit inadequacy in that department.

You are making it much more complicated it is. All prayers, regardless of which religion they originate from, reach the same almighty in heaven. Never refuse any prayers. It only shows narrow mindedness and ignorance of history. If I was struck by a Mack truck and in critical condition in a hospital, I would welcome prayers from anyone and everyone belonging to any religion.
Also, I will bet you half of my social security check, Donald Trump will welcome my prayers asking mighty goddess Kali to protect him.
God isn’t stupid, nor is He confusion. He might CHOOSE to play along in the case of someone being guided into an accurate faith. But some kind of kumbaya universalism is simply wrong, and the devil likes it.
Don’t tempt God that way.
This is not like saying tomayto and tomahto, both meaning the same vegetable. This is like calling a chokecherry a tomato.
You are entitled to your beliefs, and I am entitled to mine. Is that OK with you? This is not a thread for discussion of religion. I am offering my prayers for safety of Donald Trump. It matters zero to me if you like my prayers or not. I am confident Donald Trump will welcome my prayers, and that is all that matters to me.
It is not OK with God in the sense of being according to His will or attracting a blessing, though it certainly is permitted by God.
Indeed it matters zero whether I personally like it.
It matters infinite whether God likes it.
