Name the missing word in the following sentence from tonight's Associated Press report on the current situation at the University of Missouri: "On Friday, the now-former chancellor issued an open letter decrying racism after a swastika smeared in feces was found in a campus dormitory." The obviously missing word is "allegedly," as in, "was allegedly found." That word is also missing in sentences found in three separate reports at the New York Times. On October, 24, the Washington Post unskeptically accepted the recounting of the incident in a report shortly after it â ahem, allegedly â occurred.
There's a really big problem here. Sean Davis at The Federalist was unable, after extensive efforts, to locate any evidence that the incident really took place. Additionally, he found that a photograph supposedly representing what was done has been present elsewhere on the Internet for a year.
While Davis's work doesn't conclusively show that the incident is a hoax, it should be far more than enough to convince establishment press journalists with integrity covering events at the university to surrender their clearly expressed assumption that the incident actually occurred.

Until they get a DNA Match on the Poop, I’ll reserve Judgment. Time to get CSI Missouri on the Job.
Back in the 1990s, I heard an interview of one of the students there (broadcast on the old Chuck Harder show, "For the People") who replied to the question, "why journalism," with, "to make the world a better place." Right then and there, I knew we were doomed.

During the GWB years there was a survey of journalism students. They were asked “Why do you want to be a journalist?” and everyone of them answered “To change the world”. That’s not journalism, it’s activism.
Amen! The Universities are now beginning to reap the seeds they sowed beginning in the ‘60s when they encouraged the spitting upon our Servicemen and women returning from Viet Nam. I do not emphasize with them one iota.
I wonder what ol’ Harry Truman would do with these protesters if he were still around. Would he condemn them out of a sense of justice or join them to court future Democrat voters.
Please try the veal! ;-)
Yes, a police report has now been shown to exist. But we still don’t have any photographs.
Something stinks there...
Naturally. “It’s not the nature of the evidence, but the seriousness of the charge”
It is about IQ. These “college students” are proving every day they are intellectually immature. They will believe ANYTHING they are told. These are the ones that will be in breadlines (foodstamps) when they graduate and come to face the real world I survived. Why waste the money on college if you are rooting for socialism?
*snicker*
