A Texas grand jury returned indictments Tuesday against 106 of the 177 people who were arrested after a shootout between cops and members of two motorcycle clubs left nine people dead at a Waco restaurant in May.
The McLennan County grand jury returned true bills accusing the 106 suspects of engaging in organized criminal activity, with the underlying offenses being murder and aggravated assault, District Attorney Abel Reyna said Tuesday night in Waco.
Charges against the 71 other suspects weren't presented Tuesday but will be "at a later time," Reyna said.

The charade continues.
I reckon the grand jury got to see all of the videos and intel leading up to the event.
Did they also indict the ham sandwich?
They’ll not be happy until they spend at least $20 MM in public funds prosecuting this. It’s job security for years. In the end, half a dozen dudes will go to jail and a whole lot of weekend biker guys will go bankrupt paying attys’ fees and living in total revulsion for 3+ years. A few bad guys might get caught up in this, too.
I have no idea how 85% of the allegations & charges can possibly be proven.
DA is not finished. 61 humans to go; THEN the ham sandwich.
You show me the man, I’ll show you how he was a member of the conspiracy.
(Paraphrasing Lavrentiy Beria, head of Joseph Stalinâs secret police. No accident this rhymes with Waco.)
Once this finally gets to court, the only witnesses will be the cops and a good defense lawyer will tear their testimonies apart if the police claim to remember every crime that all 100+ defendants committed.
And the obfuscation continues...
One cop signed all the 177 identical probable cause affidavits.
My bet is all of them.
Interesting. A Georgian bank robber and an Albanian liquidating the Russ.
The Waco machine has been corrupt for decades. Vic Feazell tried to be a fair and non corrupt DA and fought the machine and the machine put him through hell. In the end he was acquitted and Channel 8 in Dallas paid him millions.
You know what they say. You can indict a ham sandwich.

That is a lot of ham sammiches
Where are the indictments?
In a STUNNING coincidence, Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton, Charlie Rangel, Lois Lerner and Jon Corzine were NOT indicted for serious multiple federal felonies.
They's some "lucky" ham sammiches...
