They’ll not be happy until they spend at least $20 MM in public funds prosecuting this. It’s job security for years. In the end, half a dozen dudes will go to jail and a whole lot of weekend biker guys will go bankrupt paying attys’ fees and living in total revulsion for 3+ years. A few bad guys might get caught up in this, too.
I have no idea how 85% of the allegations & charges can possibly be proven.
The article refers to 177 arrested, and 106 indicted. Is there any estimate of how many were there that went away before the arrests started, or simply were not arrested because they were sitting down or not doing anything? They might all be witnesses.
