The two Republican presidential debates on the Fox Business Network are scheduled for 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. EST tonight. They are being held at the Milwaukee Theater in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
The 'kiddie table'at 7 p.m.: Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum.
The main event at 9 p.m.: Donald Trump of New York, Dr. Ben Carson of Florida, Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, Carly Fiorina of California, Ohio Gov. John Kasich, and Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul.
FBN described the debates and moderators:
The first debate will be one hour in length and moderated by FBN anchors Trish Regan, Sandra Smith & WSJ's Washington Bureau Chief Gerald Seib.
The second debate will span two hours and be moderated by FBN anchors Maria Bartiromo, Neil Cavuto and WSJ Editor-in-Chief Gerard Baker.
The debates will focus on the most important business and economic issues facing the United States including job creation, social security and taxes.
LOL...onyx.
Can’t get ANYTHING passed you, dear onyx. Not sure why they even try.
All the backpedaling in the world won’t cover that poor dead horse.
He has a BS in Economics, with a concentration in finance. That means he took intro and intermediate microeconomics, giving him more than enough knowledge where he should have knocked that minimum wage question out of the park.
Gag me with a spoon.
Will somebody on the Right get smart and set up a REAL debate where the stupid moderators DO NOT get in the way?
I am wondering why One America News Network (OANN.com) is not hosting a debate? Is it up to the network or is RNC Prince Reibus only allowing who HE wants to hosts these debates?
You're wrong about that. I DO like Trump. He's been one of my favorites.. but, I like several of these guys. I agree with Cruz on the most things... but, not sure he's our best chance to win. I like Carson... and, I like Christie.. hell, I even like Rubio. The only ones I DON'T like are: Jeb, Paul, Kasich.... the rest have zero chance, so.. it doesn't matter what I think about them.
I just think the debate started badly for Trump. But, as I also said.. He finished strongly.
I don't believe any of these "instant polls"... they're completely unscientific and are truly meaningless.
I will say this though: In the after-debate interviews, I've heard Trump say a few times that it was a "Mistake to go into Iraq". I STRONGLY disagree with him on that, and I wish he'd quit saying it. It doesn't help Republicans at all. What was a mistake was, Obama LEAVING Iraq completely on their own.
The RNC and Prince Reibus are part of the problem not part of the solution.
The solution is for the candidates to go it alone and set up their own debates. Somebody somewhere has the money to do it. All it takes is some guts and gumption on the part of the candidates.
You’re the very best, Jane Long. I read your posts with great admiration. I almost always let ‘stir-the-pot’ posts sail-by, but ES has been ‘mostly a pal’ from way back and I knew his motive right away ...LOL. I anticipated a reply, but not quite this one.
I think he DID say it... but, was clearly joking about it.

“Trump will not be deporting all illegal immigrants. It will be so tied up with court stays, etc. that no thinking person can believe it. The other candidates know it.”
Getting rid of illegals is simple and it doesn’t even require a new law. The federal law is already on the books.
Trump knows this but Mitt Romney poisoned the idea in the last election when he talked about “self deportation”. Trump is wise not to mention it.
If you enforce the law which makes it illegal to hire them, they will go home....
but Cavutos last words last night were "because it's not about us".
Look forward to your link. TIA.
Thanks very much for the clarification. You are right. The tax should be on profits only.
My sentiments exactly. Enough is enough.

No court necessary. It is already in the law books to deport illegals. The president can execute it immediately. Obama will not deport even criminals they catch.
I never owned a small business. I simply helped run a $500 million a year in sales business.
If you read last line in my post again, you will realize, I already recognized that.
I think you got the wrong impression about me pushing Ted’s tax plan. I agree completely Trump is much more qualified to determine the tax structure to help businesses & create more jobs. Trump has been my first preference for 5 months.
You might want to change your tag line. It’s so last September. And, considering he was kissing up to Jeb, it shows what a loser he is.
IIRC, Cavuto said Bank of America not Capital One.
