They played one of his commercials here in NC before the debate.
Total Fake
I thought Jebbie did much better than in his previous three appearances, but his closing statement tonight was very weak. It’s good that Jebbie did so well, as this may control the rise of Rubio, who again exceeded expectations and showed himself likeable and good at thinking on his feet.
Kasich was awful again: overbearing, clearly the worst on the stage and worse than any of the “lower tier” candidates.
Trump did as he has done: no blowout yet to seal the deal but nothing to hurt him.
Carson was not impressive, but he hasn’t been in the earlier debates either; yet his poll standings continue to rise.
Cruz was excellent but his points do not seem to stick with the viewers. And it’s hard for anyone to dominate in a field of eight.
Fiorina seemed knowledgeable and determined, but I don’t think she is as conservative as she insists.
Paul did his best tonight and may be remembered for questioning the conservatism of big defense spenders.
In the earlier debate, Santorum, Huckabee, and Christie all did very, very well; Jindal, less impressive, a sour look, but a good speaker. His failures as LA governor are propelling a Democrat to win the election to succeed him.
yup.
“It was outright theft from future generations and had nothing to do with capitalism.”
Funny, I didn’t say it was. I inferred that nobody is too big to fail, in bold script. Let them fail. Capitalism shouldn’t give a f... who wins or loses.
Cruz is all in for the wall business.
Cruz is for amnesty for Dreamers.
No matter that they have chosen to remain ILLEGAL and NOT to become a citizen. They have had all the advantages of citizenship so far, and are under no threat by Cruz.
With Cruz they pay no price for their rejection of citizenship. They get a free pass with a few wrist rules, but they keep what they have taken and get a plate full of gifting with citizenship. Cruz said it tonight. These people are called Dreamers.
Yes, Fox is all over Rubio...then Carly....???
Now that Trump has supplied them with those ideas.
The question of me is: Who can actually implement the solution once we get them into office?
The one who is not taking money from lobbyists and special interest donors nor allowing PACs.
If you want to be considered a serious pundiot you cannot say Trump won. That would be considered gosh inside the Beltway.
What about Trump’s answer about the minimum wage do you think was awful?
Trump interrupts Cavuto to say he doesn’t like to talk over people. LOL
Oh please, comparing Cruz to Perry, is apples to oranges. Perry didn’t have great speaking skills...at all. He hemmed and hawed when he was asked questions, and didn’t seem to be able to articulate his message well. Cruz is the exact opposite.
I’m not going nuclear. What’s going “nuclear” is declaring Cruz done, after that simple mistake.
But, I digress. Knee-jerk reactions abound. :P
I LIKE Trump... I’m just saying what I think about the answers.
Of course the Min Wage is awful.. it helps no one. But, you can’t just say, “we can’t have it because we have to compete”. That is a huge turnoff to the idiots in this country that are demanding it.
You have to come up with a better answer than that. That answer will show up in an ad against Trump.
MW increase will break the backs of the middle class and retires in particular
Bet there will be a line in Vegas next debate on whether Kasich mentions dad is mailman. If the loser is on stage at the next debate that is.
The bigger surprise is that Cavuto doesn’t know the difference. I doubt that he is purposely asking a question that he knows is based upon a faulty premise.
But once again Free Republic is ahead of the so called experts...
“Cruz killed it tonight -
you do not want to go 1on1 with Cruz... he is just a crusher..”
Exactly. And that’s why we need Cruz to refute Hellary’s demagoguery in the general election.
Well, you said Rubio wouldn’t stand for amnesty. He recently went on Spanish television and affirmed that he would.
I did see that you ranked Cruz first, and I salute you for your honesty. I doubt that came easy (the Cruz ranking, not the honesty, lol).
I admit it...I enjoy jousting, too, naps. Hey...it keeps us sharp, right>
*handshake*
Thanks so much, dearest, thoughtful you,InterceptPoint!!
I vote honestly, and tonight my vote goes to Senator TED CRUZ!
I like TRUMP and CRUZ, so this is easy for me!
