The two Republican presidential debates on the Fox Business Network are scheduled for 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. EST tonight. They are being held at the Milwaukee Theater in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
The 'kiddie table'at 7 p.m.: Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum.
The main event at 9 p.m.: Donald Trump of New York, Dr. Ben Carson of Florida, Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, Carly Fiorina of California, Ohio Gov. John Kasich, and Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul.
FBN described the debates and moderators:
The first debate will be one hour in length and moderated by FBN anchors Trish Regan, Sandra Smith & WSJ's Washington Bureau Chief Gerald Seib.
The second debate will span two hours and be moderated by FBN anchors Maria Bartiromo, Neil Cavuto and WSJ Editor-in-Chief Gerard Baker.
The debates will focus on the most important business and economic issues facing the United States including job creation, social security and taxes.
Almost 10 minutes without Kasich or Carly interrupting
Rubio’s problem with the base is amnesty, TPP, and not much else. Major problems but nowhere close to Hillary. I’d don’t think that we will necessary have to make that be concerned because Ted Cruze is becoming more popular because people can see what what he’s about. It’s time to support someone and not cause more divisions. Go Cruz, Carson and even Trump.
Somehow about 6 Trump supporters made it past their security checks.
Cruz gutted Kasich.
He found out it’s a big mistake to try and go up against Ted in a debate.
My meaningful answer would be to reduce the EPA to a state function reporting to Department of the Interior.
Like someone posted, earlier....Trump is the elder statesman, on the stage, tonight
There were various ways to punish and hold the banks accountable without putting depositors at risk and making incompetent CEOS richer. Apparently the hosts want to pull the wool over our eyes with false choices.
Well...G’Nite!
Trump - wins on points and the most natural speaker and most believable.
Cruz - makes some good points but loses on style and sounding like a stump speech at times.
Paul - making some good points, speaking naturally, not from a script.
Rubio - you'd like him if you like robots.
Carson - forgot he's even there. Fiorina - yawn.
Kasich - ludicrous candidate.
Bush - coming off as a nerd again, his time has passed.
Maria Bartiromo (I think that is how her name is spelled) she is a brunette. This is the first I’ve ever seen her as a blonde. Years ago she was a plain reporter who seemed to have a talent with money matters and Wall Street. She worked her way up in that field, and now has her own FB program.
Exactly!
Yep...beautiful
Oh you and your rose colored glasses!
Indeed! No zots, that I saw! :-)
No, Paul just sees the other Liberals on the stage and understood he has more in common with Trump than the Liberals and he wanted to be a spoiler to the Bush’s attack dog Kasich going after Trump and Cruz.
Kasich is so obvious.
And kudos to FR for brilliantly handling traffic.
Agreed
JEB is the loser tonight in a BIG way
You are obsessed !!! hahaha
Who will have the best learning curve?
I hate “fair and balanced”. It means truth balanced with lies.
