RUSH: Let me ask you a question, folks. Does any of this with Ben Carson amount to anything at all like Bill and Hillary and their abuse of their library foundation and their personal enrichment? Multimillionaires out selling influence on the come to foreign governments? Hillary's involvement in the Keystone pipeline deal and Bill's as well, where they are enriched from the decision? Does anything that Carson's done get anywhere near that kind of corruption on the Clinton side?
Then CARSON asks...
You ask questions about veracity of what she's done? I want you to go back and ask her some real questions about what happened at Benghazi. Will you ask her when did the time arrive in our nation when we said, "It's too dangerous to go and rescue our people," when in fact you had those two Navy SEALs on top of that compound shooting those machine guns, allowing their colleagues to escape. But I'm sure they were saying, "If we can just hold out, help is on the way. But help was not on the way." Ask her why help was not on the way. Please ask her those questions. I would appreciate it.
RUSH: It doesn't sound like he's all that mild-mannered there to me. That sounds like almost an on-fire Ben Carson.

I can easily separate siamese twins. But, not if we want them to still be living after.
I also do not sell magic vitamins I claim will cure cancer to simple-minded people like Dr. Carson does.
“because ultimately, if we’re gonna prevent large parts of this Earth from becoming not only inhospitable but uninhabitable in our lifetimes, we’re gonna have to keep some fossil fuels in the ground rather than burn them and release more dangerous pollution into the sky.”
Barry Obama
But grain silos is too whacky to be president?
I am for Trump, but I am definitely not for what is happening to Carson nor do I believe it for one minute.
Carson saying he was offered a scholarship was correct in the sense that when Westmoreland offered him a post at Westpoint it meant they would pay for all his expenses including a stipend. That is a scholarship even better than a typical scholarship. That is what Carson meant.
There is nothing in these accusations and if Carson were to rise to be the nominee I would gladly support him. If he overcomes this to win the nomination that is wonderful.
He should not lose like this. This is stupid and the FR people who want to crucify him under false pretense are no better than leftists and democrats. They are probably trolls.
Carson is a world class talented man who is far above 99.99% of the people on this forum!
Carson is a very talented man. Nice try trashing him in the gutter. It simply is not credible and very low class.
Carson is doing this to himself.
I don’t see anyone on FR sabotaging Carson’s campaign. I, for one, would not do that. However, people have a right to post articles that may not put a candidate in a positive light. That’s fair.
My candidate is Trump and I’ve seen negative articles about him. I’ve also seen negative articles about Cruz, Fiorina, Rubio, Bush, ect.
Question...Is it okay to bash Bush? I don’t see anyone defending him and he’s been slaughtered. He seems to be a “nice” man just like Carson.
We are all grown-ups. Each individual can determine for him/herself what is or is not a hit-job.
Note: It’s the media writing the articles, not Freepers.
Do you deny Carson's part in selling snake oil or will you simply craft any excuse to defend him?
G*d damn the lying media to hell for eternity.
Oh so it’s ok to tell little lies?
Part of the problem, or so it seems to me, is that EVERYONE who goes to WESTPOINT is there on scholarship...so WHY is THAT a “lie”/why don ‘t the morons at POLITICO know this?
I donât see anyone on FR sabotaging Carsonâs campaign. There are campaign operatives on this board posing as Freepers, aliasing themselves multiple times, and having conversations with themselves. I don't know this for a fact, but I can tell and when I have accused certain posters of it they never deny it, they deflect. So, it's just my intuition.
Look, I've been a Freeper for over 15 years. I understand that Presidential campaigns are for big boys and if you can't stand the heat, then get out of the kitchen. I get that. However, it's like we are playing into the media and somebody's campaign staff's hand here. The headline of some of these articles are nothing but deceptive hit jobs, and you should know that.
I am not even a big Carson guy, I like Cruz the best. I will vote for Trump in the general if he gets the nomination. Heck, I'll vote for whomever gets the GOP nomination over Hillary. I just think we should recognize here on FR when we are being manipulated by the media and some campaign operatives.
I favor Cruz over Carson, but it’s been established now that Carson was the victim of a smear job and didn’t lie. Too bad the “conversatives” here haven’t figured it out yet as they eat their own, to liberal delight.
I have the same sense about Trump operatives here. But they are so pathetically clumsy and obnoxious in their smear campaigns, they do their candidate more harm than good.
Thanks, GilGil, to restore my belief that FR is not completely over-run by campaign operatives. Yes, I am like you, I support another candidate (Cruz) but don’t like being played by the media and posters from other campaign staff posing as freepers and trying to use Politico headlines to do a gotcha job on Carson. I also really like Carson, btw, so I want to be up-front about that. I’m really torn between the two, but will probably vote for Cruz if he is still in the race when the TN primary happens.
This Trump quote on Politico says it all: http://freerepublic.com/focus/f-bloggers/3357244/postsAnd yet, now Trump himself piles on. He recognizes hatchet jobs, but only when it's about him. He cannot imagine they'd do a hatchet job on his competition.
Indeed.
Cite his exact words where he stated that "he received a scholarship to west point"........
Show us where he claims he did? Please????????
No you weren't, you were in denial of the truth. (As a side note, Denial is not a river)
