Marco Rubio Confronts New Scrutiny Over Use of Party Credit Card
NY Times ^ | 11/4/15 | Maggie Haberman and Jonathan Martin

Under fire from various corners about his use of a Florida Republican Party credit card years ago, Senator Marco Rubio said Wednesday that he will "soon" release additional records that will detail those expenditures, brushing aside continued criticism about his personal finances.

Mr. Rubio spoke in an appearance on ABC's "Good Morning America," after The Tampa Bay Times reported that he mingled personal expenses with his official uses of the card.

Mr. Rubio's top adviser, Todd Harris, told the Florida newspaper that the campaign will release detailed expenditure lists in the coming weeks. He was not more specific than that.

Mr. Rubio took issue with the paper's overall account, including insisting that it wasn't actually a credit card.

"It wasn't a credit card, it was an American Express charge card secured under my personal credit in conjunction with the party," Mr. Rubio said.

I worry about the Rubio amnesty more than the credit card issue.

Rubio is an Amnesty pimp and the credit card misuse and fraudulent reimbursements by the Florida GOP is a disqualifyer, too.

I agree. This credit card stuff sounds like it might be a smear, but there is no denying he was part of the Gang of Eight.

Who benefits the most if Rubio is hurt? Jeb? Cruz?

I dislike the wimp but if I were Rubio I would happily answer any question also asked of the black Democratic candidate in the 2008 and 2012 Presidential election.

There are other things to worry about than Rubio’s so-called credit card problems. The RATS threw this at him and there is nothing to it. We can look at other issues concerning Rubio without falling for this crap.

Make no mistake the RATS fear Rubio more than anyone else.

I don’t care how he gets taken out.

When he does, all of the GOPe’s candidates will have to come from below 5% to win the nomination. It’ll be sweet.

Rubio is another amnesty RINO...and yes he has credit card issues, and also his ex girl friend put out stalking papers against him because he tried to break into her bedroom window...

There’s a lot about this guy you should walk away from...he’s not what he seems....and to represent FLA the way he has with his votes? If he can’t represent a State how can he represent a Country?

I assure you RINO Rubio lover that Marco has never satisfactorily explained this mess to republicans of Florida much less voters in our state. Of course JEB! knows about it. We’ve all known about it since he ran for the Senate. There was a big fight in the republican party over it. Rubio is a snake, a thieving, lying snake.

With him, money talks, and the more money involved, the more attention he pays. The boy likes the lavish life and you need moolah to live that large.

To all those who think this is nothing, take a look at the big picture. This is just one small piece of it. Amnesty is another piece of it. His dislike of US sovereignty, disregard and misinterpretation of the Constitution is another. Marco Rubio does not care about the people of this country. He cares about the redistribution of US wealth to others especially himself.

I am not a Rubio supporter. His support of amnesty and participation in the Gang of Eight put me off him. That is a real issue, I am not so sure the credit cards are.

Ever wonder why most of the “easy credit” ads are in Spanish? Marco’s giving the answer.

From Hot Air post...

Fox is so incredibly dishonest. Martha McCallum and Mark Thiessen, in their analysis of Mr. T and Dr. Carson this morning was risible. They also had Rubio on and it was all hot air, from him and Fox. I just looked at the Quninnipiac poll and it is totally different from what they all blabbered about.

Meanwhile Trump just landed in NH and will blow you losers’ heads away, with nary a mention.

Rubio’s number one problem is not his financial situation, or lack thereof.

His Number One problem is the fact that he betrayed all he ever met.

He betrayed his friend, Jeb Bush, who supported him morally and sent him a check even, in his FL congressional and senatorial, state and federal endeavors.

He betrayed the TEA party, who worked avidly to make him Senator of FL, instantly, as soon as he saw the big columns in DC.

He betrayed legal Americans and America with his Gang of Eight.

He still betrays the two, above, when he speaks in Spanish to Jorge Ramos and tells 180 degrees different on amnesty, saying in Spanish that he’ll “keep president Obama’s amnesty deal”, but tells the viewers in English that he wouldn’t.

He betrayed all the FL residents by being absent from DC and not performing his senatorial duties, in pursuit of yet another position.

He never has staying power for more than a few months, after he wins any position.

The media all call him an “establishment insider candidate“. He ran for the senate as an outsider, in the TEA party, and was a total deceiver as soon as he hit DC.

He is, in simple words, Benedicto Arnold to all he ever met, depending on what his incredible political ambitions are.

His second biggest problem is inexperience in the real world.

He has never produced or built anything. He was a lawyer for a very brief time. Other than that he has never even run a taco stand.
