Stephanie Rawlings-Blake, mayor of Baltimore, almost gets teary eyed when she talks about the need to rebuild her city with immigrants and refugees.
It is an issue that is close to her heart, but the argument she uses is not new. It’s the same line that is touted by the mayors of other cities, mostly in the Rust Belt, like Baltimore, Minneapolis, Detroit and Pittsburgh.
They crave a steady flow of new immigrants and refugees, they say, because their economies depend on it. Too many of the native-born middle class whites have long since departed for the suburbs.
Baltimore, for instance, has lost a third of its population since 1950. Detroit has lost almost half of its population, and Pittsburgh has also struggled.

Last I visited downtown Baltimore around the wharf was in 2000. I went with a group. We all stayed together.
The time I mentioned in the prior post, I was carted around outside of downtown.

I don’t know if I believe WND, which won’t be the first time, granted. If you click through to the list of cities under discussion, their mayors are petitioning for a rationalization of our immigration policies. WND seems to be stretching this to mean they want to bring on the Muslim hordes. That’s a stretch too far, IMO.

No, all the refugees, all the illegal aliens, and all the early release federal felons need to live and stay permanently in Washington D.C. limits. We’ll need a big strong wall to keep them in there.
There are more than enough Moslems here already. The local mosque has recently seemed to spawn huge numbers of these dangerous people. We have halal shops now too and I am seeing/meeting Moslems at every turn.
I grew up here. Sorry, but I prefer a more homogeneous region. Things have changed alot in 40 years. Thanks to commie scum.

She’s upset that the racist whites left the city and now wants to bring in these ‘immigrants’ to do the work that whites used to do? Am I missing something?
It's also my belief that 0/they are setting the stage for bringing Muslims to the US en mass from Europe/Africa for "humanitarian reasons" - but we ALL know the real reasons.
