Ben Carson has surged into the lead of the Republican presidential race, getting support from 29 percent of GOP primary voters, according to a brand-new NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll.
That's the highest percentage any GOP candidate has obtained so far in the survey.
Carson's 29 percent is followed by Donald Trump at 23 percent, Marco Rubio at 11 percent, Ted Cruz at 10 percent and Jeb Bush at 8 percent. These findings are similar to a New York Times/CBS poll released last week, which also showed Carson in first place in the national GOP contest.

NBC didn’t get the memo. Carson was last month’s flavour. Rubio is this month’s.

I have yet to meet a single Carson supporter. They exist, but they spend most of their time drooling in the corner and not among civilized people.

Non politicians getting 52% of vote, that is real story. Then you have Tippie Toes @ 8% that makes a nice sidebar.

That is the question of the day. I have not met or know anybody who has even mentioned Carson as a possible.

I’ve actually seen a couple of bumper stickers around San Antonio. Also saw my 1st Rubio sticker today. Funny I have seen any for !yeb! or Linda Graham though.

This NBC/WSJ poll was conducted (by telephone and cell phone) from Oct 25-29 of 400 GOP primary voters, and it has a margin of error of plus-minus 4.9 percentage points.

So is this a lagger? Because we just had two new IA polls out showing Carson falling behind again. The key here is figuring out which are the “leading” polls and which are “lagging.”

Wait till Trump starts putting out the negative ads against Carson.
It will be all over for the Doc.

This is true of everyone I know also. Not one single Carson supporter among my friends or family.

I have yet to meet a single Carson supporter. I saw a Carson bumper sticker this afternoon. That makes a total of one supporter that I've seen.
