Surging Republican candidate has made the social network a core part of his media strategy.
Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson has been surging in the polls of lately--even topping the once seemingly unstoppable Donald Trump in some key state polls as the first 2016 primaries near. Meanwhile, Mr. Carson is already winning the Facebook fan election.
Indeed, Mr. Carson has surged to over 4.5 million Facebook fans since declaring his candidacy in May--and his aggressive ad strategy on the social networking site could provide a window into how next year's presidential ad battle might unfold.

Yes, I suppose it’s interesting.
I do remember when Carson was adding an impossible number of followers prior to the second debate. It made his whole campaign seem like a fraud on the U. S. public.
And then his policies, Jeb Bush, Rubio, Fiornia... same game, different face.
Not interested in the slightest.
Trump uses Twitter more and leads all candidate with 4.72 million, and last I looked, Trump was at 4.1 million followers for Facebook. So Trump has almost 9 million followers between the two. Take that Wall Street GOPE Urinal.
Anything to use against Trump, Wall Street is for it. This little poll blurb will do.

Ben Carson has been “surging in the polls lately”? I don’t believe I would call it a surge. The support he does have seems to be a mile wide and a foot deep.
I did not believe it when I read the headline.

I don’t believe the pollsters are accurately tracking Trump’s support. The crossovers, and caucus voters who are not counted in polls as “likely” because they have not caucused before. These pollsters make assumptions to count a person in their polls or not. Trump is a different political animal that they have not encountered. In modern times, and not even Reagan this early, has a candidate attracted more new support than Trump. We will find out in a few short months about who is right... when Trump pretty much sweeps everything to include Iowa.

Carson’s palsy-walsy association with Sharpton has turned me off. I’m tending to think Carson is a wannabe who found the Republican field more fertile than the Democratic field. He is attractive to those in the media who don’t consider Trump part of their gang.
That’s as decent a description as any other.
His core beliefs is troubling to me.
That Sharpton thing is a clear red flag to me.
It was a political move, no other motive.
He didn’t get that that would be problematic?
