Monday on MSNBCâs âMorning Joe,â veteran political commentators and co-authors of the book âJack Kemp: The Bleeding-Heart Conservative Who Changed Americaâ Mort Kondracke and Fred Barnes said the current outsider Republican candidates will be âdoomedâ by the March 1 primary when people begin voting and both Donald Trump or Ben Carson are not electable in a general.

Another day, another commentator telling us how the GOP wants it to work.
I think Hillary is non electable. She is a criminal and should be in jail.
Did these two old farts mention that?
Kondracke And Barnes are a couple of homos.
That will just make the looks on their faces on Inauguration Day all the more memorable.
I’m not a big fan of either candidate — but I can absolutely see Donald Trump winning a presidential election, while I am 100% certain that Ben Carson will never be the president of the United States.
Funny how these prosthelizing bloviators who have no real connection to the hard working electorate are able to decide who we should vote for. or perhaps, their overlords - the Clinton Crime Syndicate, in conjunction with the GoPee-E, directed their conclusions?
Oh Gawd... More stolen strawberries.
Hillary was laughing and smile during questioning by Gowdy. Do you really think people won’t vote for her? Biden made a public announcement that he wasn’t running; that meant the fix was in for her. Nothing would come of it, and she would stay in the race.
I support Ted Cruz, but ANY Republican who threatens to pull 25% of the black vote is CERTAINLY electable. Trump also puts the northeast in play. I’m in Gerogia now, but I lived most of my life in CT and I can see a LOT of Pratt and Whitney and New Britain hardware folks and the children of same voting for him.
The clowns speak...
LOL, they’re getting skeered now.....
Anyway, I'm glad Reagan won. That was the last time I was excited about voting for the R nominee.
Yheb! doesn’t need nor want supporters. Hard to win with that strategery.
The time has passed for the Beltway Boys.
Throughout history those within a system, who are part of theystem, who prosper in one way or another from the system never understand those outside the system.
And they are traitors from way back.
Fred Barnes actually said “uh uh uh Trump uh uh and uh uh Carson uh uh uh are uh uh uh” I don’t know why anybody would put that guy in front of a camera. He cannot speak.
The GOP would rather lose to Hillary than win with Cruz, Trump, or Carson.
Trump and Carson are “unelectable”, but Bush and Rubio are highly electable, as were Romney, McCain and Dole, and even the earlier Bushes, one who couldn’t win as the incumbent and the other who only won by a handful of votes. OK. Got it.
