By toning it down, Trump also tamped down the “clown” characterizations of his performance to date. But the knowledge that he can go postal at his critics affected the other candidates to good purpose, too. I refer to Huckabee’s proudly wearing of a Trump tie, and Carson (?) saying Trump would make a great president.
He also called them scum. Later, a question was asked about John Kerry's relation to one of the Iranian negotiators and asked the press in the back if they would research that. He then said they bury the fact if it were true.

Trump from the onset has ousted the media and their bias ways as he has experienced first hand! In my opinion Trump being self funding in his campaign is a WINNER and Taking the LEAD Above the Rest.

We watched Bush get shellacked for eight years, while he played rope-a-dope in return, just like Ali, never quite giving it his all in return.
Thank heaven for Trump, a man that won’t let folks push him around. It’s about damned time a Republican showed some evidence of stones.
