Jeb Bush's reviews from Wednesday night's debate were universally poor. But the power players -- at least on the record -- say it's not time to turn out the lights yet, insisting that debates aren't Bush's strong suit anyway, and pointing to other factors such as the CNBC moderators and the high hopes and expectations coming in.
The Republican debate had the potential to re-energize Jeb Bush's floundering presidential campaign, injecting it with optimism after deep spending cuts and continuing low poll numbers.
Instead, Bush's fundraisers and backers were left trying to explain why the man they had poured so many dollars into still proved to be such a weak candidate, delivering what was widely seen as a meek and ineffective performance in Boulder, Colorado.

Well, bye.
I can help.
You're f***ed.
He’s not presidential material. He’s overly cranky but not in a good way. I see him complaining about White House stationary disappearing (a trait he might share with Carly Fiorini) but quaking in his boots at Putin. And he has those beady Bush eyes.
Boy, talk about whistling in the dark.......
Let us help you with your dilemma.
GET THE HELL OUT!
He’s probably got two weeks left in the game. He’ll close up shop by mid-November. For the RINO players....there’s not much left now.
Jeb’s donors are the only people in the country who thinks he’s electable.
All they need to do is throw more money at him and hope someone else crashes.
Beginning the five stages of grief.
I think the donors expected Bush to be anointed.
Oh well.
What’s to figure out? Their Chosen One got his ass handed to him on a silver platter.......................
Jeb can GET OUT and now take the whole Bush Dynasty with him. That’s what they deserve for trying to force this pathetic creature on us.
ROFL ROFL Awesome response!
What?...............Si....................Yes?...............Que, Si, what.............Watt?..................yes, K.C. Watt............................
"A fool and his ____ soon are parted."
Bush just cannot believe that people don’t want him. He thought that he had universal support. He thinks that Rubio stabbed him in the back and stole his Insider support.
Bush had too much baggage going into the race. Rubio has avoided that by avoiding speaking out on tough issues or even voting on tough issues in the Senate.
His only hope now is to change his name to Jeb Trump........................
