During the October 28 Republican debate in Boulder, Colorado, presidential hopeful Donald Trump criticized gun free zones as being âtarget practice for the sickos and for the mentally ill.â

Hey, now. That's a huge percent of the Democrat base. That's why the Dems blame guns and not their constituents who like to murder people.
Plain talk is difficult for the stupid to deal with
Along with the thwacking Trump gave Kasich, his best moment.
Says the man who bans all guns, even for those with carry permits, at many of his properties.
It will be interesting to see if Trump gets questioned more closely on that in the days to come. If he cannot walk the walk, his talking the talk becomes suspect.
Trump did great on that question.
A gun-free zone is a “gun range for sickos.”
You didn't detect a whiff of hypocrisy? He decries gun free zone, yet does not deny that his properties include them?
Seems to me that this a is a perfect spot for Trump to prove he will get things done.
No. It did not bother me. When you own properties like that you hire people to manage them and probably only focus some micro management on the financial aspects.
If it’s an issue to his credibility in support of gun rights, I’d want to know to more about the policies his businesses employ to ban firearms other than a few snarky soundbites.
Understanding that gun free zones are a liberals idea of myopic utopia, there can be reasonable and legal justification to ban firearms at a place of business and still be a strong 2nd amendment supporter.
There are also “good reasons” for making schools gun free. Yet, Trump condemns that.
And, I agree that follow up on this is needed. Trump confirmed that some of his properties are gun free.
If gun free is a bad idea for schools, how is it a good idea in the businesses that he has control over?
Right. I can imagine that licensed casinos are required to be legally obligated to remain gun free and businesses in countries with strict gun laws.
But, Trump is claiming he can force his will upon anyone who opposes him . Here’s his chance to demonstrate that.
So when, exactly, will Trump live up to his promise & start allowing guns on his properties? Talk is cheap.
The idea that many Trump properties are gun free zones is a meme pushed by “Think Progress”, a far left site.

It is amazing that some people here hate trump so much they have blinded themselves to the fact Trump’s “gun free zones” actually are enforced by his security people and not a sign saying “This is a gun free zone.” One is enforced with muscle the other is a sick pc joke.
Does he supply a security guard per each hotel room?
Well, I think the point being is Trumps gun bans are most likely based on business decisions rather than political hype. Of course it’s easy to conflate the two since its the only thing of record we have to go on but it’s a fair part of the vetting process.
