A KTVT-CBS 11 / Dixie Strategies Poll of over 2,000 likely primary voters in Texas shows a pitched battle taking place at the top of the GOP ticket and Clinton dominance on the Democrat side.
Statewide, among likely GOP Primary voters, Dr. Ben Carson and real estate mogul Donald Trump are in a virtual tie at 22.93% and 22.17% respectively. Texas Senator Ted Cruz is the next nearest competitor at 14.27% with former Florida Governor Jeb Bush not too far behind Cruz at 12.65%. All other GOP candidates are polling under 7% with Florida Senator Marco Rubio ahead of former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina (6.57% and 4.57% respectively).

If the national is dumb enough to select Carson as the nominee let Hillary have it as it will be the same shit anyhow, open borders etc. No borders = no country. I won’t vote for Carson
Back to this tagline ....
National= nation
I’d like to see who paid for both this poll and the one in Iowa.
I am an establishment hack because I volunteered to beat Obama?
Really?
I voted and volunteered against Romney in the primary by the way, but I guess I am still an establishment hack, huh?
And my post listed out how the best Iowa poll has Trump losing.
My post also listed how people thought that polls were corrupt before, and now look foolish.
However, you did volunteer for an establishment hack. Once Romney was nominated, we were going to get Elitists either way. Same with in 2008. And how they are going to MAKE SURE it happens in 2016.
Ok, MSM and political polls are reliable and always free from political manipulation, especially if they have someone like Carson beating Trump! Got it!
Thank you.
I am about ready to give up on politics.
I also helped then congressman Mike Pence run for governor of Indiana because he had a solid conservative record.
Problem was, he changed once he became governor.
I have better things to do with my time then get betrayed by conservatives who become liberals once elected.
I will vote for conservatives this time, but no more volunteering. To anyone.
Carson is Black. He is a GOPe splitter to pull in Yeb
Don’t give up on politics.
Just get revenge.
Actions, not words.
But what evidence do you have that the polls are manipulated?
In many elections the polls overstate republicans. For example 1998 and 2010 come to mind.
Please do not attack me for being the messenger. (By the way, I am a Cruz supporter who likes a lot of what Trump has to say, and I have no idea why Evangelicals in Iowa and elsewhere like Carson when Carson pregnant referred women to abortionists. Hello Evangelicals, wake up!!)
So I am not thrilled that Carson is doing well in the polls, but I merely think that Carson probably is leading in Iowa, since I believe the last three polls in Iowa all show him ahead now.
>>I voted and volunteered against Romney in the primary by the way, but I guess I am still an establishment hack, huh?<<
I wouldn’t get too excited about it. The criticism is coming from the sort who probably stayed home and gave us four more years of Obama. Or he might have even voted for the guy you worked for.
Anyone who thinks Romney would have made as bad a President as Obama, with a GOP Congress at his back to boot, is pretty confused about politics in general.
Going back decades, most people from both parties are the wrong people and should resign. 30+ years of violent lawless open borders during war time, 19 trillion in debt, terrible trade deals, disastrous foreign policies all of which is looting the American treasure. Go Trump!
Sounds exactly like a Clinton comment..☺
Get real.
Thanks for the advice. I probably have to leave this thread now, but I appreciate the encouragement.
Grechen Carlson just said to make sure you turn into the debate today so we can see how Carson reacts to being the new “leader” and to see how Trump reacts to not being in “the lead”.
Mind you one small poll of 500 people conducted by CBS said Carson was in the lead over Trump. All other national polls have Trump with a healthy lead over Carson and everyone else.
But as far as Fox is concerned Trump is yesterday’s news and Carson is the acknowledged new leader in the Republican field.
Is CNBC going to put Carson in the center tonight?
