Jeb Bush is entering a critical phase of his Republican presidential campaign, with top donors warning that the former Florida governor needs to demonstrate growth in the polls over the next month or face serious defections among supporters.
Bush needs to get his favorables up, said a senior GOP bundler who is backing him and requested anonymity to speak candidly.
People are looking at the stage and saying: Jeb and Marco? Im going with the new, said a top party fundraiser not aligned with a campaign. Youre seeing people really gravitate to [Rubio] and saying, Okay, well buck the Bush machine.
What I hear everywhere when you say Jebs name is, If you want to lose the general election, nominate Jeb, the fundraiser added.

Yup, and I think he’ll jump rather than wait to get pushed.

Waldorf: Just when you think the show is terrible, something wonderful happens.
Statler: What?
Waldorf: Jeb quits.

Jeb Bush: Hiya! Hiya! Hiya! Hiya!
[the crowd boos loudly]
[runs off-stage]
Jeb Bush: Bye-a! Bye-a! Bye-a! Bye-a!
[Waldorf holds up a score card that says "1"]
Statler: You gave him a 1?
Waldorf: He's never been better.

Rats abandoning a sinking ship.

Yes, time has run out on Jebbie. And perfect timing as Marco Rubio is apparently just beginning his own self-destruction. The other RINO candidates are already too far behind to even matter. For example, Chris Christie was humiliated this weekend for yakking into a phone in a quiet car on Amtrak while sipping a McDonalds shake. Carly Fiorina is on her way to zero percent.
This leaves Trump, Carson and Cruz as the only viable contenders left.

Jeb blew it already. Couldn’t hold it together for a whole month.
Unfit to serve, that’s a lock.

This never made practical sense. Whether or not his father and brother are popular or unpopular are irrelevant - people just get leery of, or even just bored with, having this many candidates from the same immediate family so soon. If Jeb Bush were to win, he’d be the third Republican President in a row from the same immediate family - it simply doesn’t make sense people would be willing to go for that. It isn’t impossible for another Bush to be President one day, but it is way too soon to be practical, and need to be another generation removed from this one.

Jeb will drop out by 12/31/15. His appeal is zero, he may inch over 10% approval but not with any gusto.
To: Helicondelta
If there are actually people who will fund Jeb for another month, then there really are people who are too rich and too stupid.
To: Republican Wildcat
I feel the same way. The GOP establishment were nuts for thinking that Jebbie Bush would fly in the general election. Too many Bushes!
If not for Donald Trump, the nightmare scenario of a Jebbie Bush as our nominee may well have happened.

All his well-heeled donors have to do is look at the market research.
Jeb is like the mythical Nigerian prince - a bottomless black hole.
Any one who wants to keep funding Jeb when he has no chance is looking to go broke fast.
I believe they just pulled the plug on his campaign.

Will ¡Yeb! at least hang around for 3 days and until after the next debate?
He can go full tard there! ;^)
To: Helicondelta
Didn’t we just see where Rubio quit going to work because he was bored? Is that their next great hope?
