I predict October will be the hottest ever.

I predict November will be the hottest ever.

I predict December will be the hottest ever.

"NOAA reports today the globally-averaged temperature for September 2015 was the warmest of all previous Septembers on record, dating back to 1880, and by an unprecedented margin of 0.19 degrees. "

I'm still amazed to learn they had thermometers that can measure to hundredths of a degree as far back as 1880.

The record increase in temperature was about 1/10 of a degree? We are talking about how many angels are dancing on the head of a pin.

So that was September. But how about last winter when those of us on the east coast froze our backsides off and so many places were buried in 6 plus feet of snow? Or how about early summer in my neck of the woods where it was cool and damp and my tomatoes wouldn’t ripen? And a number of weather soothsayers here are predicting yet another colder and snowier winter.

It’s weather, people and it goes in cycles.

hottest ever ? i planted 300 tomato plants got 8 bushels of tomato’s and the rain killed half of them then i replanted over 150 plants and got another scant few bushels and the first freeze already killed all of them id like to know where this amazing fantastic heat was because it wasn’t in ohio !

Actually, there were many record breaking low temperatures in New Hampshire, New York and Vermont last week, making October a record cold month in our area. I’m thinking I read Michigan too, had record lows.

This claim is using ocean-based thermometers that greatly over-report temperatures, due to weather/sun shield degradation without timely replacement (due to budget cuts/laziness/desire to lie). Thermometers exposed to direct sun always over-report temperatures.

When coupled with the large proportion of land-based official recording stations which are near or inside the heat-sink islands that are cities and airports, a whole bunch of areal averaged temperatures make the entire countryside between those stations look to be at the same temperatures of the two averaged heat-sink islands defining the extremes of that “recorded” area.

This is affirmed by satellite temperature monitoring, which shows decadal decreases in net world heat (including ocean temperatures).

Note that this year, only NOAA started using these poor ocean heat over-recorders in their averages as legitimate temperature sources. The rest of the world so far refuses to jump on to including these, due to their obvious, known, fake inflation of temperature.

NOAA reports today the globally-averaged temperature for September 2015 was the warmest of all previous Septembers on record, dating back to 1880, and by an unprecedented margin of 0.19 degrees.

Has this claim been vetted? On the surface it fails the sanity test.

Is NOAA using satellite data, or land based temperature sensors? Are they "adjusting" the raw data in any way? Are they using global data, or just data from a hot spot on the planet?

I suspect that NOAA has been taken over by leftists, as has EPA. Their claims simply do not ring true. It will take many years of honest management to win back public trust.

The temperature numbers have been coming in a lot more in line with predictions since they moved the sensors to the heat exchanger outlets.

Central Park in Manhattan once sat under a glacier that was 500 feet thick.Yet it's been ice free since *long* before the advent of the internal combustion engine.

How could that *possibly* be?

This from a group of “scientists” and meteorologists that can't give us an accurate forecast for more than 5 days.

But we're all gonna die in 100 years because of my car/boat/ac/heat/bbq grill/....yada...yada...yada!!!

These people need a wholesale beatin’ .

Boston area 8 feet of snow in a short time, a cool (and thankfully pleasant) summer...this upcoming winter may be more mild than most, though. The weather constantly changes and man made “global warming” aka “climate change” has little to do with it.

Early 2014 NY Times writer predicted “the end of snow”...
