Ben Carson has plowed past Donald Trump in a second poll of Iowa voters released on Friday.
Carson wins 28 percent of likely Republican caucus-goers in Iowa, according to the Bloomberg Politics/Des Moines Register poll, while Trump gets 19 percent.

I got in a lot of flak for saying what you just wrote a few months ago. I just guessed it about Cruz because of how chummy he was with Geo W and his impotent grandstanding otherwise. It is very sad how these GOPe-ers lie, cheat and deceive people.
You haven’t disput ed anything I’ve written. You merely assert that your god is conservative.

it’s so stupid writing back to you and your weird religious histrionics — telling me to “bow” to Trump? And you are trying to pin the pro abort meme on Trump and it’s just not true, and then you are making personal attacks on me, someone you don’t know. LOL.
How about you take Karl Rove or George Bush to task for us? How about how Bush Jr funded Planned Parenthood, covertly, for eight years? (And absolutely free of histrionics... just plain lying and pretending he was a Christian.)
How about how Karl Rove did the same through Susan G Komen? How do you think God looks upon people of the Geo W Bush White House, who pretended to be “Christian” but really are ushering in the most disgusting murderous situations since Hitler and Stalin — i.e. Planned Parenthood?
LOL, but sheesh. The GOPe obviously can’t afford trolls who can actually debate the issues. coughsitetestrandilongbow1969cough

The cult members are like vampires to light when it comes to the facts.
Duh. Forgive my shorthand. Let’s just call ‘em Trump Democrats. And leave the Jeb talking points about people who want “free stuff” off the table. Yawn.
Cruz is a sell out and I know far more about the fruit of David Barton’s Christianity than I wish I did.
Yep.
Cruz is also in bed totally with the scamming establishment groups who tell people they want to advance conservative values and then put the money into their bank accounts.
Here’s who some of his best friends are:

I agee with your series of posts this morning.
Thanks.
What a load of horse stuff.
I voted for Reagan twice and you’re saying all those folks aren’t around any longer.
Whew, where did you pull that from?
It is you who displayou worship of trump.
I just pointhought out the facts.
It is trump who said women have a right to baby murder.
It is trump who proposed a wealth tax.
It is trump who, in August 2015, had positive things to say about Canada’s badaly broken singlr-payer system.
It is trump who, this summer, repeated the dammocrap lie that under Walker, Wisconsin had a $2,2 billion deficit, when the truth was he was in the budget process which eventually yielded a surplus and retained his multi-billion dollar tax-cuts.
These are facts.
You disregard them, they demonstrate trump is no conservative. You say otherwise, obiesant to your master, who tells you “I am conservative.” And you bow and scrape.
I would happily address my feelings towards Karl the Bastard, etc. As soon as I find anyone engaging in Jeb Bush worship here at FR. But I’ve found, they’re kinda scarce around here. For folks who are not trump cultists, like you, most of us dislike Jeb as a candidate for president as much as we dislike trump as a candidate for president. But a sure sign of trump cultism is the false belief that to be against trump as president is to be pro-Jeb as president.
Most have become Republican. Growing up in a conservative dammocrap state, though I voted for President Reagan twice, and then Bush in 1988, I was a registered dammocrap until 1990.

Reflecting on those important points a bit, perhaps the following information sheds some light on those negative views by many voters.
One of Dr. Ben Carson's "Seventh-day Adventist" denomination's founders was Ellen G. White, who the denomination follows religiously, believing was a special prophetess of God who received many visions from God over her long lifetime, and she wrote many books (although there is some question as to whether some of her writings may actually involve plagiarism).
Ellen G. White
One Of The Main Founders -
Seventh-day Adventist Denomination
The Seventh-day Adventist denomination advocates vegetarianism, and Dr. Carson is himself a vegetarian. The Seventh-day Adventists got that vegetarian teaching from their prophetess, as documented right here.
There has been a lot of written response to Dr. Carson's candidacy, and two interesting examples from that response which give a small flavor of it are linked here - one by another Seventh-day Adventist like Dr. Carson, and one by a former Seventh-day Adventist:
A famous Seventh-day Adventist hymn (almost seeming to support Trump ☺ ) is subtitled "Lift Up The Trumpet".
Link For Seventh-day Adventist Hymn -
"Lift Up The Trumpet"
Lift Up The Trumpet
and loud let it ring
Jesus is coming again!
Cheer up ye pilgrims
be joyful and sing
Jesus is coming again!
Coming again,
coming again,
Jesus is coming again!
Dr. Carson has not made it entirely clear whether his personal views completely or just partially contradict Seventh-day Adventist teachings, which (for example) demand that their young men and women be pacifistic conscientious objectors (non-combatant medics in their military service, if required by conscription), and that they keep a strict separation between "church and state", and essentially avoid politics (other than voting). He doggedly presses on with his long-shot quest for the presidency.
Dr. Ben Carson
Seventh-day Adventist Candidate For
President of the United States of America
My 30 years experience says otherwise.
You two are dead wrong about Seventh-Day Adventists.
They are not cultish in any sense of the word. You two have merely fallen for the media interpretation of a protestant religion. Dumb.
Sevent-Day Adventits Believe in:
The Trinity, God the Father, His Son, and the Holy Spirit
The Biblical Seventh-Day Sabbath, the same as the Jewish religion does
They believe that Jesus will come a Second Time to rescue Christians who have chosen Him as their personal savior
They believe that death is defeated if you die a person trying to live up to God’s will
They believe in Sanctification through faith in Jesus Christ and acceptance of his sacrifice for them
They believe in creation
They believe we should try to follow the ten commandments
They advocate for a healthy life-style and have for over a hundred years
(it may be of interest to know that the SDAs have been the subject of several studies because they live longer than the general populace due to healthy living)
They advocate against the use of tobacco, alcohol, and drugs
They advocate for chastity before marriage, marriage between a man and a woman, and being faithful to you mate
They advocate for being decent to your children
They do not advocate for harming anyone, and feel that harming yourself is wrong too
(They don’t believe in taking other people’s life even in war. They do advocate serving as a medic or in some way other than as a gun toting combatant)
They believe that the body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, and as such it should be respected and pure
Believing all this, they don’t condemn others. They do have values judgments, but then who wouldn’t if they have standards they strive to meet as well.
They believe God is the ultimate judge.
There you go. One idiot here said you didn’t exist anymore.
We have some of the most ignorant people on some subjects.
Ignore the trolls. They are out in full force spreading the Establishment provided talking points.
As someone once said: “Takin names and kickin a$$” LMAO...
I kept trying to connect the Glenn Beck/Ted Cruz/teddy bears/Raphael Cruz/David Barton dots. This helps explain a lot. I never could figure why Ted handed out border bears and why Raphael marched with the goofball Beck.
