NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) -
Construction workers at the corner of Royal and Marginy streets say they watched two young kids casing vehicles in the neighborhood Friday afternoon.
“So, when they came around the corner, they had another vehicle on this corner and they were looking in the back of it. I said, 'Hey, get out of here,'” says the victim.
The victim, who FOX 8 will not identify, says it was clear to him that the two kids, a 6-year-old and an 11-year-old, were up to no good. That’s why he says he decided to confront them.
“That’s when he turned around and started saying, 'What are you going to do? Mind your own business.' The little 6 year old was saying that in the front and he was coming towards me,” says the victim.
He says the 6-year-old boy was the aggressor at first, threatening him and cursing and repeatedly calling him a "b---h."
“'You better mind your own business,' he was saying. Then, the 11-year-old boy had a gun. He had his hand on the gun and shirt was wrapped around the gun. He never pointed the gun at me, but he kept saying, 'You better hush your mouth,'” says the victim.
The man says even after seeing the gun, he wasn’t afraid. He says he continued to tell the young gunman to leave the area, but the two children refused to back down.
“I finally yelled, 'There’s the police!' They got scared and they took off running,” says the victim.

The little thugs didn't take daddy's Model 629 out of the display case, or his Glock 23 out of his bedside drawer.
No, the thieving little bastards broke into some law-abiding decent civilians home or car and STOLE it from them.
If the little thug's parents knew they had it, they'd take it away from him to use in his/her's next drug deal, carjacking or just plain killing the next fool that pissed them off.
Or they'd head to the nearest street broker and sell it for enough for their next crack hit.
...or if their child brandishes a gun for intimidation or attempted criminal activity.
And again...the parent (if they even know who they are) probably sent the little thug pieces of crap out there to do the intimidation or criminal activity in the first place.
Why inconvenience law-abiding good people for the actions of these animals?
To hell with one more "law" that only effects the law-abiding.
Let's snatch some of these little thugs up and put them in a damned boot camp and then send their parents to a desert island and let them starve to death.

In retrospect it was pretty clear that the ONLY foreign policy that will work with Afghanistan is to completely cut them off from the rest of the world. The Soviets had none of the compunctions that Americans do regarding human rights and they couldn't make it work there, and we found out the same thing. America can SAFELY target anywhere in the world at any time and that's what we should have done with Afghanistan.
