A Serious Question for the Trump Supporters
Red State ^ | October 21, 2015 | Leon H. Wolf

Posted on 10/21/2015 2:08:43 AM PDT by Cincinatus' Wife

I have a serious question for the Trump supporters, and I hope they will be able to answer it, at least to themselves. It is a question that every supporter of every candidate should be able to answer if they consider themselves a thinking voter instead of a mindless, drooling sports fan. The question is this:

What, hypothetically, would Trump have to do or say to cause you to stop supporting him?

SNIP

............It’s supposed to matter what candidates think, do, and say. There should be a point with literally every candidate where something they have done would push us over the edge to the point that we wouldn’t support them anymore.

I still don’t see, and you cannot make the case for, my comment, without derisive rancor being the equivalent of calling his supporters “Jock Straps”. Those are epithets, FRiend. The words “fan bois”, “roadies” etc. aren’t my words - they’re from OCD TDS FReepers here in other threads.

You won’t get an answer to your question because you never really wanted one to start with. You and I disagree about the media’s narrative with respect to Trump and that’s okay, but I’ll not converse anymore with someone who has to resort to epithets in their arguments.

If I learned to trust the Establishment, if they weren’t so corrupt? But I’m angrier with them every day. Now Princess Ryno is demanding carte Blanche. Their despicable treachery and arrogance know no bounds. I’ll vote for abide. Before a GOPe.

Trump has managed to portray himself as a blank canvas upon which the angry and disaffected of all political stripes can paint what they wish to see.

Obama did exactly the same thing. Trump has learned from the master.

I think you’re spot on! YOu can sense this in the black community who are posting, like Diamond & Silk, the Doctor of Common Sense.

IT is definitely like the 60s, but remember, our world was abruptly changed with the Kennedy assassination.

Trump wanted to do something greater with that property.

Nothing is greater than an ordinary citizen to have quiet enjoyment of their rightfully owned property. I'm far more for personal freedom than the "common good" espoused by liberals.

I’m not a Jeb or Rubio supporter.

Are you supporting another candidate yet, if so who is it?

Also:

What will you do if Trump wins?

Honest questions.

...I randomly asked a guy at whole foods yesterday what he thought of Trump.

So you randomly selected a subject from a highly self-selected culturally marxist indoctrinated population and the spinning wheels came up Hillary Clinton. That's shocking I tells you. As for you, if you continue to hang around places where they only hire lesbians and hipsters, you're going to end up in a park in New York railing against Wall Street. (I'd shop there myself if I could get food stamps)

“In my view, the republic is lost.”

I have said that for a long time, the question is whether it can ever be reconstructed. True freedom is nearly impossible to achieve due to human nature but this country came very close to achieving it and then threw it away.

I was getting ready to say that that’s the stupidest sh*t I’ve ever read but upon reflection, I realized that calling it stupid sh*t is an insult to stupid sh*t

I agree that property is central to freedom and there is one woman who, fortunately, won to keep her property. But even if Trump was trying to use the “common good” excuse in his case to buy the property the actual fact was that it was for his good. Using a convenient liberal excuse once or twice doesn’t make him a liberal. OTOH, we don’t know too much of his actual liberal versus conservative views on some issues, but I don’t believe that is as important as cutting the federal leviathan.

It is pretty bad when people have to resort to nitpicking Trump’s immigration policies. And the other choices are....?

Serious question for the knee jerk Trump haters here and at Red State

When are you going to write a coherent rational article about Trump? Your hysteric personal attack drivel is the sort of debate tactics we see from the Left. When we see people, supposedly on our side, resorting to these tactics, it tells us a LOT more about you then your target.

I’m not the one that said it. Trump is 70!

Shows if Reagan could change into a solid unquestionable conservative, Trump could.

Right now, Trump is the only one saying - and writing in detailed policies - conservative things. All others aren’t saying much. I wouldn’t trust them because of that.

It is a question that every supporter of every candidate should be able to answer if they consider themselves a thinking voter instead of a mindless, drooling sports fan.

Though, it would be refreshing and honest if some would give a reasoned answer to the question pose

Ask a serious question in an intelligent, rational, fashion instead of this usual childish personal attack drivel, we might take you rabid hypocrites seriously. Until such time you, and Red State, are showing us your true childish, absurd nature. Go away children, we have no more time for your politics of stupidity.

The Whole Foods Cambridge is the best one I have been in. It’s the Disney World of food. You even ride a double long escalator up to it and it spits you out in flowers and produce and bakery. The other side has the best buffet and prepared foods in the world...it’s mind boggling. Yes I see Kerry bumper stickers in the parking lot, and people dressed in hemp, but I will never give up this particular store!

Hobknob with the GOPe. ‘Join’ their little anti-America soiree.

The reason I DO support him can be summed up in two words. Chris McDaniel.

Yes, the establishment is afraid that Trump has exposed them for the liars they are.

RedState is part of the Salem RINO empire and actively seeks to destroy effective conservatism every single day.

Salem is the employer of uber RINO Michael Medved and RINO Huge Ass Hewitt.
