Just as I predicted here, and on Twitter two days ago. This is another example of what Scott Adams, of Dilbert fame, calls a "verbal kill shot."

This is not good. Not good at all. Trump’s initial statement would stand, but this is getting into a territory I do not think I can support.
....Or it could very well backfire on anyone who even now makes any effort to attack the Donald.
Stupid? YES indeed. Desperate? I don't think so, but I would call it totally unnecessary. And did I mention STUPID! As long as this mantra is out there, it will bite ANY REPUBLICAN in the butt in the general...and yes, that includes Saint Donaldo.
I have no real problem with his initial comment but this follow up one is kinda.....ugh.

I think people did know it was a possibility. Trump even wrote about it before it happened and mentioned Bin Laden(sp) by name. However I give most of the blame to Clinton and very little to Bush.
What I think is happening here is all that Jeb has going for him is the Bush name. So Trump is trying to sully the name some more.

It makes him look like a Clinton operative. I guess the first World Trade Center bombing and Oklahoma City were also Bush’s fault. Or Republican Congress’ fault?

Trump is great spokesperson for Democrats.
He can repeat exactly what Democrats have been saying for years (which used to be laughed at) and now many conservatives buy every word of it.
The DNC and DU might as well just go on hiatus. Trump’s carrying their water!

Trump really didn’t have to go there. At some point you really have to question his judgment.
