He’s silent about ISIS.He’s silent about Obama. But he smears Cruz. Truly pathetic.
Very disappointed in President Bush here. I understand and respect his desire to support his brother. However, this was just a crass attack that violates the Reagan commandment. I really thought W had more personal integrity and class than this.
More and more analysis ... if W wanted to hurt Ted Cruz, he FAILED ... completely.
This same George W Bush who chose to “rise above it” and let the ‘rats get away with every smear and deranged assassination fantasy and outright lies about himself (Dan Rather, etc), but attacks Cruz who has never attacked him, because Cruz is a true conservative.
Oh, I gotta hear this.
All the Bushies do this. Let’s not forget mama Bush saying in 2010 that she hoped Palin stayed in Alaska. Never a bad word about Obama, but they could sure pile on Palin.
Why are we surprised. Bush was not conservative.
His spending was off the chart. Also, he made a rookie move
In Iraq.
At least, unlike President Evil, I had some respect for W as a man. I felt his mistakes were honest.
Now I just think he’s just a better-packaged McConnell with a Texas accent.
I don’t remember W ever speaking out about not liking Obama. When we needed him to he didn’t.
Now, he chooses Cruz.
Democrats and Republicans have gotten away from the US Constitution and that’s why they hate Cruz.
Levin summed up Bushs choice to attack Cruz,
George W. Bush finally pops up, finally speaks out, not in defense of the soldiers in the Middle East, not in defense like Dick Cheney out there defending his own policies, not in attacking Obama or how dare he attack the Clintons friends of the family, no! - attacking Ted Cruz, the same way this family attacked Ronald Reagan.
EXCELLENT CLIP by the “Great One”, Mark Levin - Short and to the point.
To understand George W. Bush, you must look at those he trusted for advice--such as Karl Rove (a huge memory but no analytic ability.) Or consider the speech writer who wrote his frankly childish Second Inaugural Address (George Washington vs. George W. Bush).
Bush made himself and his family look like dirt. Clinton is his brother, Obama gets a pass, but he attacks Cruz. Shame on him.
If JEB is able to hang in there until the Texas primary, then what puts the most fear into the GOP elite hearts is for Cruz to trounce JEB in the Texas Primary.
I mean Texas is the residency of two former Presidents named Bush and here comes younger brother JEB and he gets trounced by Cruz in the primary.
The GOP elite will go to any lengths to not let JEB be embarrassed in Texas.
Burn it to the ground.
Sounds like GW left Trump alone. He’s smarter than his brother Jeb. Trump is just waiting for Bush to push back again’st his remarks about 911. :-)
Like many on FR, I like GW as a person and a patriot and a decent and moral man. Unfortunately, socially and financially he’s a Liberal as are all the Bushes.
I wish he had not attacked fellow Texan/Republican Cruz in a pitiful, losing effort to help his brothers failing campaign.
George W. The whole family of Bushes are GOPe to the bone. None were truly conservative. They attack true conservatives and refuse to call out the real enemies of America. To heck with ‘em.
George W. Bush stood silently by, for over seven years...not peeping one word, as POTUS Obama went on his evil destiny to destroy our great country!!! I think GW Bush should shut his mouth and Jeb Bush should withdraw from th 2016 POTUS race. Thy are both going nowhere!!!
