A declassified CIA report concludes former agency Director John McCone withheld information about the assassination of President John F. Kennedy Jr., according to a recent news story.
The 2013 report, declassified last fall, concludes that McCone, who ran the spy agency when Kennedy was fatally shot in November 1963, kept information from the Warren Commission during its investigation into the assassination.
The report’s author, CIA historian David Robarge, writes that McCone and other top CIA officials were part of a "benign cover-up" to keep the commission focused on what the agency believed at the time was the "best truth … that Lee Harvey Oswald, for as yet undetermined motives, had acted alone," according to Politico Magazine.

Oswald did it...if you go to Dallas, you realize that it was a gimme shot to anyone with basic marksmanship skills. All three of them.

Even the Warren report stated the FBI had to shim the scope to acquire a target on that weapon.
I couldn’t find in the article what the suppressed
information actually was. Did I miss something?
I read elsewhere that the Nixon/Elvis picture is the most requested image in the Library of Congress.

EXACTLY what I was thinking.
This would fit in with Oswald appearing in a paper that said he slapped down his passport and was ready to go to Russia.

Check out the head of the CIA in Dallas at the time of the assassination. I am not surprised that the Director of the CIA protected his people.
I was a young woman when The CIA and The Cult of Intelligence came out. I read and reread it and wondered why wasn’t this all over the news!

While not a conspiracy kind of person, there are centralized powers, no doubt. And they make BIG decisions. Still do.
Apparently, if recent books and interviews are to be believed, Jackie was convinced LBJ was behind the assassination.
