Both the Dems/GOPe and the Freedom Caucus think the peasants are revolting, but only one thinks that’s a good thing.

This threat to the establishment from the conservative activist base is real.

And long overdue!

It’s not happening “because of Trump” but “It’s all happening BECAUSE Trump is CONTINUING TO lead everybody else DESPITE the constant attacks by the news media and Washington elites.”

simply moving each member of leadership up a slot

In the local chapter of my engineering society, we used to call this "democratic rotation in office," as a member moved "up through the chairs" (secretary, treasurer, vice chairman, chairman). With us, it made sense, as the member moving up gained experience. In the House, I'm not so sure.

It’s all a transparent ruse to keep Boehner as speaker. I knew it as soon as I saw McCarthy’s smirk after his Q and A earlier today.

The end result will be 400 Democrats and 38 Tea Party

Maybe people will then realize that they keep voting for candidates who claim to be tea party people and keep getting democrats in disguise and we'll see the unmasked GOPe liars tossed to the curb finally. Because believe me, without the TEA party there is no GOP victory in 2010 or 2012. If they cast the TEA party out, they will banish pay a price.

“Newt said he would help advise the GOP caucus, but would only talk taking the job if he had the 218 votes to become speaker.”

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Newt as Speaker would send a YUUUGE message. Though I have a fear he may be more GOPe than we think.

But Newt with a President Trump? I would have to pinch myself many times to make sure I wasn’t dreaming.

And a lot of people don’t pay attention and vote for the person with name recognition.

I am probably alone (or damn close to it) on FR with this view, but I do not think political anarchy is a good thing.

Anarchy may be a necessary step in exorcising the tyrants currently in power.

Kevin McCarthy’s implosion signals a full-blown Republican revolution

I'll believe that only when I see results.

Little Johnny Boehner delayed the vote for one reason: to hand-pick and fast-track another clone.

Anarchy simply cannot be worse than just assenting to Obama carrying on his destructive agenda.

I cannot even begin to comprehend how a rational thinking person would prefer the immolation of our nation simply because it is being accomplished in an orderly fashion.

I wonder if Tom McClintock is wishing he could take back resigning from the House Freedom Caucus two weeks ago

I don't think so.
Tom McClintock was just on FOX bus blaming the freedom caucus for everything.

He thinks the freedom caucus members should be backing Boehner's guys.
Instead of doing what their voters want.

But, I also think that the possibility exists that the establishment doesn't have the ability to put down this revolution.

Well, idiot, THAT IS the crux of the problem. The GOPe should NOT be in the business of telling the base what to think or "putting down" the revolution of the base. For the billionth time, the GOPe has reached this point precisely BECAUSE they did not listen to their base. The base knows that electing ANY GOPe approved candidate is the functional equivalent of electing a Democrat. THAT makes for an "opposition" party that does not oppose, and by G-d it is way, way past time to oppose the Commie Rats.

How do we override Obama’s vetoes?

Simple AND easy. Shut down the government until Obama caves. If it takes until January 20, 2017 so much the better!

Oh, and also file Articles of Impeachment. THAT should get Obama’s attention!

We have been saying this monthsthat the GOP doesn’t get it. Neither do the DEM’s. They have abandoned the nation to become RINOs and we will not tolerate their establishment BS any longer. The country is already so messed(may be to late to be honest)up that we have nothing to lose. Burn it all down and get some new leadership. Death to the cheap labor express.

I absolutely do credit that wonderful Freedom Caucus for shipping in and partaking of the testosterone.

It is also pretty cool that everyone is finding their best voice, since Donald Trump entered the political fray, last June!

I am reminded that it was only 10% of the population that were Boston Tea Party types, who fought to win the American Revolution. Everybody else was ninnie nervous, spoke up for business as usual, and would not participate in the revolt.

Trump is revolting all right, and he is revolting to ALL the right people, even to many on our side. But, I think we are at finally at the REAL 10% of the HAD ENOUGH caucus
who is going to blow the Establishment up and return to representative government, and not empower the few in the smokey back room.
