.S. Sen. Harry Reid is suing a company that makes and markets a flexible exercise band that he says broke or slipped from his hand during an arm-strengthening routine on New Year's Day, causing him to fall and suffer face, rib and eye injuries.
The Senate minority leader from Nevada and his wife, Landra Gould, seek more than $50,000 in damages from Thera-Band maker Hygenic Intangible Property Holding Co., The Hygenic Corp. and Performance Health LLC.

This will be interesting. The company should make numerous discovery requests and subpoena all of Herry's family members and associated and make them testify under oath

I thought his brother beat the crap out of him. What does a piece of exercise equipment have to do with that?

Sure, I believe that - if by “exercise band maker” he means a mob enforcer with a name like Vinnie “The Muscle” Testosteroni...

Perhaps the company has been bought off or scared off so as to become complicit in the coverup.

“Broke or slipped”?
Didn’t get know which?
If it broke, it’d be obvious on examination. Which means it slipped. Which means he let go. Which means it’s his own damned fault.

Wow, that exercise band really worked Harry over good. It looks like it may have used a pool cue on him. Hope he wins his settlement. /sarcasm
