Unfortunately Trump has to be more careful due to death threats and wack jobs. I know he is for real, because he has literally forfeited his lifestyle of the rich and famous for one as a walking bulls eye. He doesnt have to agree with me on every issue. I know he deeply loves America in the traditional sense, and he is risking everything out of this love.

Could anybody be more American?

Trump is still eating in the open at the grill. He hasn’t gone into hiding.

Being your from the upper midwest you must mean Crandon area? Or the Copper Country of the UP of Michigan? I know that some of the masses found up there reached the 20 ton range and over. Divers have told me that while diving in the big lake, they have seen entire ledges of pure copper under the water.

Stopped for an egg sandwich at the Grand Central Star Cafe on 463 Lexington with a big cup of black coffee. That hit the spot. Now in my office. I’ll take a walk to Trump Tower around lunch - nice day for a walk!

Trump’s Campaign Hat Becomes an Ironic Summer Accessory
New York Times ^ | 9/11/15 | Ashley Parker / FR Posted by Drew68

An old-school, wide-brimmed rope hat — some in white and navy, others in red and white — has seemingly become the ironic must-have fashion accessory of the summer. It is the “Make America Great Again” campaign hat first worn in July by Donald J. Trump in Laredo, Tex., and since spotted on hipsters from Williamsburg, Brooklyn, to the Silver Lake district of Los Angeles and in the football locker of Tom Brady, not to mention on the heads of the hundreds of Trump loyalists at his rallies.

“I was certainly surprised to the extent it caught on,” Mr. Trump said in a phone interview last week. “It’s become the hottest fashion item there is.”

The hats, in four different designs, are $25 on the Trump campaign website and in Midtown at the store in the Trump Tower, where they promptly sold out.

The hats’ appeal seems to rest partly in their studied outmodedness (think the 2.0 version of the trucker hats repopularized by millennials) and partly in their uncanny ability to capture the current absurdist political moment, with 17 Republicans vying, circuslike, for their party’s nomination. (Excerpt) Read more at nytimes.com ...

========================================

Quite frankly, I think it looks absurd on Donald....who is a handsome guy.

I'm sure the hat's vintage styling was to keep his hair in place
on those windy landing strips (he does not wear a toupee).

In a former life I lived in Jackson Heights and was an IBM Mechanic, aka, a Customer Engineer in the Insurance District in Downtown Manhattan, just a tad north of Wall Street.

As a dumb hayseed from south central Pennsyltucky, I constantly marveled at the SANDWICHES that were served in NYC. I have fond memories of having a coffee and a sandwich, between service calls, at one of the Chock Full o’ Nuts coffee shops that dotted the city. One such, was a cream cheese and walnut sandwich on raisin toast. Yum! It was also in the Big Apple that I learned to appreciate a good Danish Pastry....FRESH....Right out of the oven!

The hat does look a little out of place on Trump but it fits perfect since he is a little out of place in politics. From the shoulders up he looks like the vast majority of blue collar Midwesterners. I guarantee you that it helps some see him as more like themselves.
Watching Trump turn politics upside down is the greatest thing politically that I have seen except for Cruz calling out McTurtle as a liar on the senate floor.

The Crandon copper mine my brothers did his masters in mining engineering on that ore deposit.

It was a huge money maker at 35 cents a pound.

At todays prices wow.

Every time I turn around, Trump is giving another interview. Has any other presidential candidate in our history ever made himself so available? Usually front runners hide inside a cocoon of handlers and put out carefully scripted press releases. But not Trump, he just talks to anybody with a camera or microphone.

What's hilarious is when Trump phones it into Greta and other TV shows. Trump is on the telephone.

You know, it’s not only that, Trump said something very profound in Iowa last night.

He said, “I’ve spent very little on advertising, and for good reason, I’m getting air time by being covered live. Now, if I did a live campaign stop, and then right after that put up a paid ad on the TV, you’d be getting Trump saturation in no time. I know this better than anyone.”

The guy is calling his shots. Plus, he’s got another book coming out on his positions called “Crippled America”. Go figure. Where does he get this energy?

We could use that energy in the White House. Trump's actually on record as saying he'll never go golfing when president as he'll be too busy working.

I believe him. And Trump loves to golf. So that would be quite the contrast to the current occupant who actually puts golf ahead of his duties. Which come to think of it, is not such a bad thing as it gives him less time to do further damage.

I love it too, when he said he’ll never leave the White HOuse, he loves it so much.

He did the Mark Levin show. At the beginning, Levin says, “You’re right on time....AGAIN!...as always. You’re the only person whom I’ve interviewed who is always on time, sometimes early. Obama and Hillary are ALWAYS late.”

Trump says, “It’s something I learned early in life, and something that I notice about people.”

I don’t know... he just seems so complacent of late. He’s obviously enjoying this. There’s a certain Euphoria. At least put on a bullet proof vest.
