In an interview with Fox News Latino, Rubio, a Florida Republican, said that he didn’t think Trump’s offensive remarks about Latinos would alienate the electorate from the GOP. At the same time, he said, Trump has to be held accountable for his controversial comments and positions.
Rubio expressed exasperation over the billionaire’s antics, and said the election needed to be focused on substance and details about what policies a candidate would push and try to implement if elected president.
“He’s going to do what he’s going to do,” Rubio said. “This campaign is about serious things.”

That’s true. And it’s every bit as true that RUBIO NEEDS TO BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR HIS BETRAYAL OF THE TEA PARTY AND HIS PRO-AMNESTY AND OPEN BORDERS ACTIVITIES.
Trump is even inadvertently throwing himself down to take on and harass Rubio, so Cruz can do his deal. Trump is roughing up Rubio a little, so Cruz doesn’t have to. That was the suggestion.
Cruz benefits when anyone takes out his nearest competition or at least buzzes their halo.

It's just a hunch but I think Trump wants to win the nomination and have Cruz as his VP.
That would be a great ticket and if they win Trump would need Cruz to tell him how to best govern. Trump is a smart man but Cruz is IMO considerably smarter.

I don’t know about his tax plan, but his immigration plan (aka known as Amnesty & Open Borders) is WHATEVER New York Senator Schumer gives to him to rubber stamp. Rubio has PROVEN that to us by his actions.
