The White House confirmed that President Obama was preparing a series of executive actions on gun control to match his recent passion on the issue after the latest mass shooting in Oregon.
Its a high priority and will continue to be until we start to see more progress on this issue in this town, White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest told reporters today at the press briefing.
Earnest said he would quibble with anyone who criticized the president for not voicing any specific gun control proposals during his press conference, asserting that the White House was working behind the scenes for more executive actions on guns.
I can tell you that theyre not stumped, theyre continuing to review the law thats on the books and continuing to consult with legal authorities but also others who may have ideas about what steps that can be taken to keep guns out of the hands of criminals, Earnest said.
He admitted, however that he had no details for what the White House was working on, but asserted that the process was a scrub that was ongoing.

Not to worry. Executive Orders are NOT laws. They are only to run the executive branch. Meaningless to the American citizen. Just ignore and prepare to defend yourself. Some nut will still try to enforce them against the citizens.
I give up my guns one bullet at a time and will then throw the gun at whoever is still standing.
It’s the only time I’ve wished my life away.... And I thought after Clinton, we had seen the worst.
We cannot deport 12 million illegals in plain view but will get rid of guns?
Unfortunately the lefty press is in bed with him but it would be nice to have someone ask him a simple question: you have time to worry about guns, what about US foreign policy which has gone to hell under you, along with the economy.
Before you throw the gun, beat them with it till it breaks, then throw it and grab a knife.
He will never get impeached.
He’s untouchable-—and he knows it.
Frightening.

Good thing we’ve got the GOPe to protect our interests......
(Yes, that’s sarcasm)
Really folks, he is going to go outside the box. What are you willing to accept from this creep?
We will be forced to make a choice.
One of the best movies there’s ever been.
Where is the UN helmet with a bullet hole through it!
If Obama chooses which laws to enforce.
We can choose which laws to obey.
Tit for Tat...
Look for “civil disobedience” to become very, very popular.
King Bath House is readying his pen and phone.
Meanwhile, congress is off somewhere else, cowering.
Don’t need a CNC. All you need is a decent drill press, router and a work bench. You can buy the 80% complete receivers and jigs from damn near anyone these days for a pittance. A good day in the shop and you’ve got yourself a lower ready to finish out. And no one is the wiser.
There you go, short handled shovels are good to.
1. Moore’s law. We’re almost there on cost.
2. Open source development. Think mozilla.
Upshot: the genie is already out of the bottle.
Hank, the handyman, stopped by his friend Martin’s house one day and saw that Martin was building a white picket fence. But Hank immediately saw that the pickets were getting a little higher with each one he nailed to the cross boards.
He asked Martin, “Have you noticed that the fence is getting higher with every picket?”
“I sure have,” replied Martin. “And I don’t understand. I’m measuring each picket before I cut it.”
“How are you measuring?” asked Hank.
“Well, I’m laying the last picket on top of the wood and drawing a line at the end of the last picket,” answered Martin.
“That’s your error. You should always measure against the exact same height using a tape measure. The way you’re doing it, each picket is getting longer by at least the width of the pencil line.”
Martin’s way of measuring is just like the legal profession’s way of deciding cases and the constitutionality of each law. You should always measure against the Constitution, not against the last legal judgement, or the latest interpretation of the Constitution by academics and judges.
Otherwise, the law will always be getting farther and farther away from the Constitution. Always.
He said he would have these in November some time ago.
Obama can issue EO’s until his entire face turns as purple as his lips, but Americans will ignore illegal or immoral orders.
In fact, there is a moral imperative arising from our exceptionalism that gives us no choice.
He doesn’t understand this, so if he accepts our standing invitation to `come and take them’ it will spell the end for his reign of shame.
I almost welcome it, like finally meeting the bully and his threats at 3:05 PM on the playground.
the TPA deal that was recently passed also. Most dont know how its connected to the UN Arms Trade Treaty and probably done in order to facilitate their long wished dream of our disarmament. Excerpts:
If the TPA passes, then the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty (ATT) would not need to be subject to senatorial debate. In fact, it would not be up for debate at all. TPA calls for a simple up or down vote on such presidentially brokered international agreements.
The ATT is so offensive to the preservation of the right to keep and bear arms, it is an understatement to call it unconstitutional.
..the Arms Trade Treaty grants a monopoly over all weaponry in the hands of the very entity (government) responsible for over 300 million murders in the 20th century leaves private citizens powerless to oppose future slaughters.
The right to own, buy, sell, trade, or transfer all means of armed resistance, including handguns, is denied to civilians ..
25 US cities (all of them must be sanctuary, IMO) have signed on to this:
On Wednesday, Property-grabbing Loretta Lynch told the United Nations that the Attorney Generals office, working with several US cities, will be working on a global law enforcement initiative. She referred to this initiative as the Strong Cities Network.
So, what is this for? Its an attempt to enforce the sharia-compliant UNs rules on America. Its unauthorized by Congress and its unconstitutional.
Blue Helmet United Nations personnel will be replacing municipal police forces whose ranks have been harassed and hollowed out over the last year by Obama activists in groups like #BlackLivesMatter.
Like all things named by the UN, the Strong Cities Network (SCN) sounds benign and good for society, a society distracted from what is really going on by their own self-serving governments.
SCN makes its debut at a time when the public at large is forbidden to identify Islamic terrorists as Islamic terrorists; when citizens who dare to stand up for individual rights are automatically branded as dissenters who must be cowed into silence.
The project, introduced out of the proverbial blue at United Nations headquarters on Wednesday by Attorney General Loretta Lynch, is touted as the launch of a strong cities network to Strengthen Community Resilience Against Violent Extremism.
With no public input, no Congress debate or vote, it will be blue helmets and not local cops who will be policing the streets of America, in an initiative underway before its launch date.

“My note: Therefore, in my view, they (traitors in DC) are beginning their big push to disarm us via the TPA/UN Arms Treaty. The Black Lives Matter movement and others like it were part of the plan along with the flood of illegals and invasion of Muslim refugees that Trump said could be a Trojan Horse (yes, it is). They want much chaos with more events that will use as excuses to send out the Blue Helmets, other Law Enforcement that they control (national security or something) to confiscate guns.”

We need to go back and reread the DHS memo of 2009. This was the plan all along.
I would imagine that about 50% of the Senate went scrambling through their electronic data of all kinds when the 1st revelation about hacks on WH and other Fed servers came out.
