LONDON: Russian President Vladimir Putin is reportedly sending 150,000 soldiers to Syria to wipe out the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS).
According to The Daily Star, he is apparently mounting an enormous military mission to take control of the terror group's stronghold of Raqqa.
Raqqa is the self-declared capital of ISIS which is patrolled by as many as 5,000 jihadi members.
Putin is set to mobilise 150,000 reservists whom he conscripted into the military earlier this week.

Zero didnt foment revolution in Syria Assad did that himself. In a world filled with jihadists, and porous borders, its not surprising that the situation Assad created led to a massive escalation he simply couldnt handle. Zero did supply it.
Zero did less than nothing when Gaddafy was overthrown;
Not true. CIA supplied Al Qaida affiliates in Libya with weapons to overthrow Ghadaffi long before Benghazi:
A New York Times report from 30th March 2011 reveals that the CIA had been active in Libya for weeks, to gather information for [NATO] airstrikes, and to contact and vet the rebels battling Gaddafis forces. The New York Times report also states that Obama had signed a presidential finding in the weeks previous, which gave authority to the CIA to arm and fund the rebels. Once Ghadaffi was down, Xero's proxies in Libya started supplying weapons to Syrian rebels. So what I am saying is that the goal of taking down Assad may well be part of the same gambit: Liberate ever more destructive weapons for the next larger jihadi group. It's classic cyclical leveraging.

I expect Putin will be picking up quite a bit of slightly used American military hardware along the way. Maybe he can sell it back to obama to augment depleted domestic assets.

Wondering if the whole thing going on with Russia/Syria/Iran is what Obama said he’d have more freedom to discuss “after the election”.
To: cripplecreek
No, Obama will simply bring in tens of thousands into our hometowns. He even said he would.☺
