President Obama is pushing back against the idea that hes been outmaneuvered in Syria by Russian President Vladimir Putin since the two met at the United Nations on Monday.
Obama appeared frustrated by the suggestion during a press conference this afternoon, dismissing it as a notion only talked about in the Washington D.C.
Sometimes the conversation here in the Beltway differs from the conversation internationally, Obama responded.
Obama accused Putin of acting in Syria out of weakness, repeatedly referring to Russias weakening economy. He also compared his coalition to act against ISIS in Syria to Putins unilateral decision to prop up Assad.
Iran and Assad make up Mr. Putins coalition at the moment, he said. The rest of the world makes up ours.
He repeatedly assured reporters that he was very clear with Putin about where America stood on Syria, ....... Obama: Im Not Losing To Putin In Syria.
This is not some, you know, super power chess board contest and anybody who frames it in that way isnt paying very close attention to whats been happening on the chess board, he said.

(grudgingly laughing)
His arrogance is stunning. “..sometimes the conversation is different...” IOW, they just can’t understand his brilliance.

In a phone interview with CNN Tuesday evening, Trump claimed that theres something in the Iran deal that people dont understand saying if someone attacks Iran, we have to come to their defense.
Does that include Israel? Trump asked. And most people say yes, they dont have an exclusion for Israel. So if Israel attacks Iran, according to that deal, I believe, the way it reads, unless they have a codicil or they have something to it, that we have to fight with Iran against Israel. ..."
Trump was most probably referring to language highlighted by the opponents of the deal. On page 142, the deal includes a clause that states, Co-operation through training and workshops to strengthen Irans ability to protect against, and respond to nuclear security threats, including sabotage, as well as to enable effective and sustainable nuclear security and physical protection systems.
Washington-based Center for Security Policy asserted that Annex III appears to commit the United States and other world powers to the defense of Irans nuclear program.
I remember reading some comments from Robert E Lee on what he considered to be his biggest failure. I don’t remember what particular battle it was but he said that he failed to recognize that the battle was lost and kept trying to win.

Without a doubt Obama's a fool. But the damage he's doing to America's standing in the world is by design. Part of the "new international order" agenda that he shares with Putin and the ChiComs.

Obama Pledges Cuts in Missile Defense, Space, and Nuclear Weapons Programs
February 29, 2008 :: News
MissileThreat.com
A video has surfaced of Presidential candidate Senator Barack Obama talking on his plans for strategic issues such as nuclear weapons and missile defense.
The full text from the video, as released, reads as follows:
Thanks so much for the Caucus4Priorities, for the great work you've been doing. As president, I will end misguided defense policies and stand with Caucus4Priorities in fighting special interests in Washington.
First, I'll stop spending $9 billion a month in Iraq. I'm the only major candidate who opposed this war from the beginning. And as president I will end it.[i.e. not win it]
Second, I will cut tens of billions of dollars in wasteful spending.
I will cut investments in unproven missile defense systems.
I will not weaponize space.
I will slow our development of future combat systems.
And I will institute an independent "Defense Priorities Board" to ensure that the Quadrennial Defense Review is not used to justify unnecessary spending.
Third, I will set a goal of a world without nuclear weapons. To seek that goal, I will not develop new nuclear weapons; I will seek a global ban on the production of fissile material; and I will negotiate with Russia to take our ICBMs off hair-trigger alert, and to achieve deep cuts in our nuclear arsenals.
You know where I stand. I've fought for open, ethical and accountable government my entire public life. I don't switch positions or make promises that can't be kept. I don't posture on defense policy and I don't take money from federal lobbyists for powerful defense contractors. As president, my sole priority for defense spending will be protecting the American people. Thanks so much.

2008 Pentagon Report (March 2008):
China's Growing Military Space Power
By Leonard David
Special Correspondent, SPACE.com
March 6, 2008
GOLDEN, Colorado A just-released Pentagon report spotlights a growing U.S. military concern that China is developing a multi- dimensional program to limit or prevent the use of space-based assets by its potential adversaries during times of crisis or conflict.
Furthermore, last year's successful test by China of a direct-ascent, anti-satellite (ASAT) weapon to destroy its own defunct weather satellite, the report adds, underscores that country's expansion from the land, air, and sea dimensions of the traditional battlefield into the space and cyber-space domains.
Although China's commercial space program has utility for non- military research, that capability demonstrates space launch and control know-how that have direct military application. Even the Chang'e 1 the Chinese lunar probe now circling the Moon is flagged in the report as showcasing China's ability "to conduct complicated space maneuvers a capability which has broad implications for military counterspace operations."

This all is perhaps the first break in Hussein’s operation to purify the Middle East for Sunni Islam. It is not good for America’s position in the world to have Russia in control of the ME and with it the Eastern Mediterranean but it is at least different from Hussein’s determination which itself is inimical to American and Infidel interests. Russian intervention might possibly be the one thing that deters an Iranian nuke assault on Israel and DC or NY. Israel could feel constrained to ally with Russia due to the realignment of America away from Israel and civilization and toward the Moslem Brotherhood and ultimately universal Shariah.

Sometimes the conversation here in the Beltway differs from the conversation internationally,
Sometimes the conversation here in my head differs from the conversation in reality.
(I didn’t actually go to those links, But!)
I can’t believe McCain said that, and Hillary’s No-Fly zone, either. (Well, I can) “Leaders” inside DC beltway don’t have any idea, either.
Another thing Obama’s counting on was that NONE of these (wildfires around the world, esp. MENA) are supposed to flare up under his watch. He’s supposedly happily retired to golden sunset ever the scholarly statesman, and safely continue his selling-out-America-under-one-world-agenda till his death.
“Obama accused Putin of acting in Syria out of weakness, repeatedly referring to Russias weakening economy.”
Obviously he didn’t read the US unemployment numbers that came out this week. Labor force participation rate 62.4%.
