Treasury Secretary Jacob Lew informed Congress on Thursday that it needs to act by Nov. 5. That is earlier than most on Capitol Hill has thought and means the issue probably needs to be dealt with before House Speaker John Boehner resigns.
What a coincidence!
Obama's employees, Boehner and McConnell, will make sure the king gets his wish.

We could save a few pennies if we: 1) did away with the serve-one-term-and-get-a-pension-for-life benefit, 2) made them pay into SS like the rest of us, 3) made them pay for their own health insurance via Obozocare, and 4) actually made them do some work rather than doing nothing but bitching at each other or working for reelection.
GO ahead, Bozo. Shut the gov't down, but you better be damn careful which agencies you shut down first. For me, go ahead and shut down the EPA and NTSB since they don't do us any good anyway.

NOT raising the debt limit and reigning in spending would jump start the economy along with job creation.
Therefore, the Republicans in the House and the Senate will be sure to do Obama’s bidding instead of the people who voted them in.
