Join 6 Texas Congressman in supporting Sen. Ted Cruz
HOUSTON, Texas — Presidential candidate U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, today announced the endorsements of 36 Texas State Representatives and five Texas State Senators. They join Texas Congressmen Randy Weber, Louie Gohmert, Michael Burgess, John Culberson, John Ratcliffe, and Brian Babin, totaling 47 Texas lawmaker endorsements for Cruz.
“I am thrilled to have these legislators support, said Cruz. They stand on principle and fight at every turn for the people of Texas. With their help, we will continue to grow our campaign and attract the thousands of supporters in the Lone Star State and across the country who want to see real change in Washington.”
“Ted Cruz is truly a conservative leader and the kind of person we need in the White House, State Senator Konni Burton said. He is a passionate defender of the Constitution and a critical voice for keeping our country safe and prosperous. He is the only candidate in the race who has consistently fought for the issues conservatives care about most and I am proud to endorse him for president.
“No one has fought harder to protect Americans from the disastrous policies of the Obama Administration than Ted Cruz, State Rep. Matt Krause said. That’s why I trust him to do what he says he will do and defend our conservative values. We can no longer afford to maintain the status quo and kowtow to the Washington Cartel. It’s about time we had someone like Ted in the White House.

HOORAY Cruz
Something like 30 of them have endorsed him in NH and he isn’t even really trying hard there.
Seems to me like he is building a rock solid machine. When he finally starts the engine it’s gonna take off. (Blowing right by Trump who is sitting in his shiny/glittery machine revving it’s engine.) =P
Politics. Glad to see the list, but even this list shows how politics works.
John Raney is a Straus guy being primaried. I guarantee his endorsement is self serving and if he weren’t being primaried, his name would not be on that list.
But. That also is a show of support for Sen Cruz. Even Straus’ boys are starting to understand that Sen Cruz is the future of GOP politics in Texas, and if you want to stay elected, it’s in your interest to acknowledge that fact.
Cruz has been quietly laying a firm foundation around the nation, in Texas that foundation has hardened and the building has begun, the foundation is still firming in other states but the building will begin soon enough and when finished there will be built an incredible shining city on a hill, whose foundation will once again be our Declaration of Independence, our Constitution and our Bill of Rights.
Now if the American people would wake up and see that Cruz is the real deal and not a flim flam man, they would have a President that would represent them.
GO TED GO
If I don’t get the nomination I hope it goes to Cruz!
Thanks for the insight at Texas state level, ziravan. Much appreciated.
So far Ted Cruz only has 1 Michigan legislator’s endorsement but its a good one in the form of Pat Colbeck who is a real idea man in regards to getting rid of Obamacare and replacing it with real DR/Patient centered health care.

Bet you’ll never see U.S. representive Kevin Brady or U.S. Senator John Cornyn join this group.
This is good news, but a billionare just floated a turd to the top by helping Marco Rubio, GOPe plan B if Jeb is forced out.
The war of words going on between Ted Cruz ( actually Ted Cruz hasn’t really said much about Rand Paul ) and ankle biter Rand Paul showing the world that Rand Paul is just another typical insider Washington politician.
Rand Paul the phoney flimflam pandering man.
I don’t get it, you’d think folks around the country would have noticed Ted Cruz kickin up the dust up in D.C..
As far as I’m concerned..Ted Cruz is the only true conservative constitutionalist.
Hope he is using plenty of rebarb in that concrete.
Let’s make this happen!!!!!!
Others that aren’t on the list: Pete Olson U.S. representative, Larry Taylor-State Senator, Ed Thompson- State Rep - who, by the way, replaced Randy Weber when he went to D.C. Wish we had Randy back!
150 State House 31 State Senate 36 Congressional Reps
