Breitbart ^ | 28 Sep 2015 | Dr. Susan Berry

“Let me tell you the strong things in this,” he continued. “And he’s very specific for those who want specifics.”

Levin explained:

From seven tax brackets to four. And the top rate is 25%. The top rate now is 39.6%, but for some people it actually winds up being 43% thanks to the deal the Republicans made with Obama a few years ago. So, the Republican establishment types – the Bushies, the guys – they really have no complaint here,... and I would remind you I think it was 27% under Reagan.

...

“Trump cuts the business tax rate from 35% and, in some cases, 39.6% depending on the business type, to 15%,” he said. “Could you imagine the amount of economic growth that would occur in this country?”

... “No death tax, so anybody who spends their life acquiring assets, having already paid taxes on them many times, to local, state, and the feds, you don’t have to liquidate after your death – your family doesn’t – in order to pass on the family farm, or homes…”

“No marriage penalty,” he went on,

I’m less of a drain on the government then married couples and I shouldn’t get half the tax benefit.
Send them a check.

Maybe you could tell the rest of us what his plan is, exactly.

You’re parsing it downward

I heard him
His only issue was that he thought bottom enders should pay something

He said to emphasize the old style state and county run care for the poorer

Which is how we did it up till the 80s when medical insurance meant major medical

Not everything

If you were poor you went to county hospital

A far better system than now

Hmmmm let’s see...

1. No written immigration plan..
2. No written stand on the second amendment.
3. No written tax plan..

Yep, not voting for this clown, who has a lot of talk but no action. This guy is a loser and has no right or the smarts or the talent to the guts or any vision to be president.

In short, Jeb is our man!!!!

Agreed. I guess getting rid of the entire progressive tax structure is too much to ask?

You'd first have to repeal the 16th Amendment or the graduated income tax would just creep back into existence.

I love to see a consumption tax but only if the 16th Amendment were repealed.

Taking people off the tax rolls frees them up to vote themselves benefits using other people's money.

Everybody here agreed that this was true back when Romney was getting savaged for his 47% remark.

But now that combover boy is proposing more of the same, it's a great idea, I guess.

Absolutely right. Revenues rose 40%, spending doubled.

Trump likely just won the vote of nearly every business owner in the US

Well, most small businesses don't earn profits on paper. Our books are simple enough that we can avoid paying federal taxes - of course we still play plenty in income taxes! We simply pay everything out on December 31 and hold back depositing some incoming funds until January 1. Where this tax cut will make a big impact, I think, is on the big corporations who pay out millions each year. In other words, anybody who's too big to zero out their books on Dec. 31.

“From seven tax brackets to four.”........

Just think how that could reduce the number of IRS “workers” who monitor such things.
