Mark Levin Gives Thumbs-Up on Donald Trump Tax Proposal: ‘A Hell of a Plan!’
Breitbart ^ | 28 Sep 2015 | Dr. Susan Berry

Posted on 09/28/2015 9:30:34 PM PDT by Red Steel

“Let me tell you the strong things in this,” he continued. “And he’s very specific for those who want specifics.”

Levin explained:

From seven tax brackets to four. And the top rate is 25%. The top rate now is 39.6%, but for some people it actually winds up being 43% thanks to the deal the Republicans made with Obama a few years ago. So, the Republican establishment types – the Bushies, the guys – they really have no complaint here,... and I would remind you I think it was 27% under Reagan.

...

“Trump cuts the business tax rate from 35% and, in some cases, 39.6% depending on the business type, to 15%,” he said. “Could you imagine the amount of economic growth that would occur in this country?”

... “No death tax, so anybody who spends their life acquiring assets, having already paid taxes on them many times, to local, state, and the feds, you don’t have to liquidate after your death – your family doesn’t – in order to pass on the family farm, or homes…”

“No marriage penalty,” he went on,

It’s a great plan.

This is a huge win for Trump. It’s going to further his populist appeal to every voter. Democrats and independents will cross over and vote for this.

The HUGE backlash against Trump didn’t work. He’s now moderating his tone and coming out with specifics. This was part of his plan to evolve his candidacy.

This is Trump’s wheelhouse, he lives inside the US Tax Code, and after graduating from the top rated Wharton School he has been at the pinnacle of the world of finance ever since.

If anyone is going to put forth a tax plan that is workable and makes sense, he’s the man. Having Levin agree is icing on the cake.

Rush compared it to tax cut Reagan pushed in 85
Expect Trump to get a bump in the polls.
I’m starting to think he really can win it and become the next POTUS

Trump likely just won the vote of nearly every business owner in the US

I don’t like it, the single payer rate should be around $35K.

I’m less of a drain on the government then married couples and I shouldn’t get half the tax benefit.

Of course, this is all contingent on getting spending under control in a very serious manner. Even though Reagan was able to lower tax rates and thus increase the amount of tax revenues into the Treasury, the Dems spent it and and then some.

That Mark Levin likes it really says something profound.

Perhaps they could even half that rate if they cut spending by even a percentage point or two. These politicians and politician-wannabes are so short-sighted.

Did the poll that has been running on this site. Granted it probably has more people reading the article that are pro-Trump than not, but the results were interesting:

Trump - 39%
Cruz - 19%
Carson- 14$
Farino- 8%
Paul - 4%

Yeah, I get the impression Levin is hard to please :-)

Another plus for Trump is the timing of this - he’s the first out with a substantive tax plan and now all others will be compared vs. his.

You might call that a good negotiating tactic.

Are you saying ending the so-called marriage penalty penalizes single people?

Levin liked it ok. He didn’t love everything about it. He has not endorsed a candidate.

I have a hunch Trump would quickly get spending under control by very early getting rid of ridiculous agencies created in an effort to shut up the hippies during the ‘60s and ‘70s and that only exist now to provide employment for otherwise unemployable liberal zealots who prey on American business and the American people for their paychecks. It’s well past time for anti-American people to be removed from the American government. That really goes without saying. That’s Job One, and that’s why the left fears Trump.

“Having Levin agree is icing on the cake.”

Agreed. I guess getting rid of the entire progressive tax structure is too much to ask?

Like I explain to my kids.

“So with cigarettes and booze the gov’t says they want to reduce that because it is bad for your health, etc. So to discourage that behavour they put a higher tax on that stuff.

And for people that earn more money - you know - the ones who work hard, run companies, invest in companies, companies that employ people and make things - well the gov’t wants to tax these people at a higher rate.

Trump knows more about taxes than all the candidates combined, and he knows whats best for America.

The other candidates have nothing like it, because if they did more than likely the super pacs would abandon them.

Again Its a Sign, Trump is the One.
