During his 60 Minutes interview Sunday, Republican presidential front-runner appeared to come out in favor of a form of single payer health insurance for the uninsured ... and openly called for raising taxes on the wealthy.

“You stupid idiot. How’s your boy Bush doing? It’ll work when Trump does it because he’s not beholding to big money. And he’s spectacular.”
Signed, Joe Trump Supporter.
“Please name the candidate that has drawn up a better plan.”
Yeah lets see it Mr. fish.
Look up Ted Cruz’s plan, that is more realistic.
There are alternative plans that are both reasonable and feasible.
1. End anchor babies
2. Strong fines for employers and contractors who handle illegals.
3. Fines on bank who open accounts for illegals.
4. Defund sanctuary cities and sue the mayors.
5. Electronic tracking for all entry visas (40% of illegals are those who have overstayed their visa and cannot be found)
6. End remittances to home country.
These are specifics that The Donald hasn’t spoken to.
There always is a bottom line. That is who is the candidate that can win?
If a candidate cannot win, we get nothing.
Trump can win and we get something.
Someone who cannot take hold and is unable to draw in anyone other than the ususal suspects will have no path to win the general election.
Feeling good only lasts until you lose.
You’re late!!
“Single Payer Healthcare?
Buh-Bye Trumpie”
The Trumpites may have to change the flavor of their Kool Aid.
Go Ted
It’s trying to gin up anti-Trump articles like these that makes people support Trump more. What else you got? The bond between Trump and his base has been set. We are done with the rest of the choices. We are not switching our votes and support. It’s over, Johnny.
No WAll and no deportations = no country. Enjoy.
Where is Ted going?
= :^)
Perfect. Love it. Thank you.
1. Trump has also addressed that
2. Pre-existing 1986 Immigration bill (not enforced)
3. Possibly pre-existing 1986 Immigration bill (not enforced)
4. Sounds good. I’ve heard Trump address this too.
5. Sounds good to me, but I’m not convinced Trump wouldn’t do this as well.
6. Why should legal Citizens or residents be prevented from sending money overseas (this was just tossed in to make him look really serious) (It’s pathetic)
Another Spot On post ;-)
Or until you prevent the guy from doing what you never wanted done from winning.
Dozens of Trump supporters, in this one thread alone, are offering dozens of different explanations of what Trump meant by his comments about health insurance.
We’re back into the “what the meaning of is is” again, 20 years later.
Truth is, nobody has a friggin’ clue what Trump means, including him.
You’d think the Trumpeters would get tired of trying to fit a square peg into a round hole day after day after day.
That's a great start.
Questions: Cruz has been in office down in Texas for about 12 years I believe. When did he come out with these proposals?
All we know about Trump’s immigration plan is that “they’re all going to be happy”. What a ridiculous statement.
Scott Pelley: What's your plan for Obamacare?
Donald Trump: Obamacare's going to be repealed and replaced. Obamacare is a disaster if you look at what's going on with premiums where they're up 40, 50, 55 percent.
Scott Pelley: How do you fix it?
Donald Trump: There's many different ways, by the way. Everybody's got to be covered. This is an un-Republican thing for me to say because a lot of times they say, "No, no, the lower 25 percent that can't afford private. But--"
Scott Pelley: Universal health care.
Donald Trump: I am going to take care of everybody. I don't care if it costs me votes or not. Everybody's going to be taken care of much better than they're taken care of now.
Scott Pelley: The uninsured person is going to be taken care of. How? How?
Donald Trump: They're going to be taken care of. I would make a deal with existing hospitals to take care of people. And, you know what, if this is probably--
Scott Pelley: Make a deal? Who pays for it?
Donald Trump: --the government's gonna pay for it. But we're going to save so much money on the other side. But for the most it's going to be a private plan and people are going to be able to go out and negotiate great plans with lots of different competition with lots of competitors with great companies and they can have their doctors, they can have plans, they can have everything.
Before Trump, there was Cruz
