It’s okay, but not the game changer I was hoping for.

Thanks so much for the Ping! I managed to see his whole speech and Q&A afterward by switching between CNN and PMSNBC. I don't think Fox carried it but I only checked once and VERY briefly just to be nosy! 😁 Trump is tremendous when it comes to handling reporters and their questions! Also, he even got a good result from the libtard push poll at PSMNBC: 73% FAVORABLE !!!

What about minimum wage workers? The dollar is down most of the time and min. wage is stagnant for years. There is not a penny to pay for taxes, beyond those they pay on necessities.
I think sales tax, paid by the working poor, is quite sufficient, myself.
In fact, things are so out of whack, one has to consider the cost of even going to work. Meals out, gas, perhaps grooming costs depending on where you could work and child care.

As far as those making less than $25k a year, does the government actually keep a small portion of that? What would they end up with, about $23k after taxes?

What happens to payroll taxes? FICA, Medicare, etc. That’s 15.3%.

Isn’t Trump self-funding his campaign? He’s not even beholden to rich donors, he doesn’t need any at all.

Grover Norquist buying off on Trumps plan .... On FOX leading economist predicts 4.0 growth.4% growth? That's it? Guy must be insane to think the US economy would grow by such a small percentage.

I prefer Cruz, but I’d be just as happy to vote for Trump.

what about them?
If you are trying to live on minimum wage you are doing it wrong.
Even if it’s only 5 bucks a pay check they should be paying something.

80% of American households pay more in payroll taxes than they do income taxes. Even if people pay no income tax, they will still be paying a payroll tax.

Yeh I’m OK with most of the tax plan but a combined income of $49,999 should pay something. $24,999 should pay something even if its $500 per year. Unless you are really destitute you should have some skin in the game.

“not the game changer I was hoping for”
The game changer is lowering the corporate tax rate and allowing repatriation of corporate offshore funds.

“Do you think Congress would alter it before passing?”
Of course. Trump’s plan would never get a clean passage so I’m not too worried about it. The main thing is the lower corporate tax and bringing the offshore money back into the country. That is yuge. :-)

The question on that PMSNBC running poll was ‘will this tax plan help with Trump’s campaign?’ The results were amazing.
