Kentucky Clerk Kim Davis Switching Parties to Become a Republican

Kentucky clerk Kim Davis, a longtime Democrat, says she is switching to the Republican Party because she feels abandoned by Democrats in her fight against same-sex marriage.
Davis' made the announcement while in Washington, D.C., to attend the Family Research Council's Value Voters Summit, said Charla Bansley, a spokeswoman for Liberty Counsel, which represents Davis in her legal battles.
"I've always been a Democrat, but the party left me," Davis said, according to Bansley.

hurts who? She stood up for her religious beliefs against the homonazis and now some on our side think this is bad.
Can’t win, maybe we should just go along with what they want and please the establishment and the homonazis.

She has a better argument regarding the Fed v. State; the negating of KY law and her Christian understanding of “paying to Ceasar” concept.
She should not, simply, fall back on her “religious” argument.

The county is small population wise and looking at some recent results it seems to
have a lot of democratic voters. Kim worked under her mother who was County Clerk for
many years until there was some dirt beginning to come forward and she didn’t run for
re-election in 2014. The County got invovled and ultimately reduce the County
Clerks budget by 1/3.

If this woman was a Republican fighting a SCOTUS ruling to protect unborn babies, the Dems would be screaming about how "intolerant" Republicans are to moderates.
