House Speaker John Boehner told lawmakers Friday that he plans to resign at the end of October, in a stunning development that comes amid mounting friction with the conservative wing of the party.

Typical. As Freepers wake up - or turn on the news - they will see this “Breaking News” and think; “Hey, I’ll post this to Free Republic”.
And so they do. All day long.
who’s your new whipping boy going to be now that you won’t have beohner to kick around anymore?
that would be interesting
Clinton E-Mail revelations?
Way too little and too late.
Now the fight begins for the replacement..
rumor has it that hes going to switch parties and run for POTUS
There’s no J. Edgar Hoover to stop the leaks or hold the paper.
No doubt that Boehner was one of the last useful FBI files that the Clinton’s had on hand. And she is using it— no doubt about it. Because of Benghazi hearing, and because of the Foundation and the Sec of State picking up cash all over the world into her “diplomatic pouch” for deposit only to the bank box at the Foundation—no audit possible.
Corruption, cross party. Embezzlement and FBI files they had on Boehner. Remember it was Boehner and Gingrich talking on the intercepted cell phone call recorded by mobile activists—subject matter: ethics commission review of whether Gingrich should have been paid for the college courses he taught, selling books. This was in 1997.
Who knows what other dirt.
I am ready for exactly that. And, I’m a Catholic. LOL!
This quote this AM from Ted Cruz says it ALL:
“If it is correct that the speaker, before he resigns, has cut a deal with Nancy Pelosi to fund the Obama administration for the rest of its tenure, to fund Obamacare, to fund executive amnesty, to fund Planned Parenthood, to fund implementation of this Iran deal - and then, presumably, to land in a cushy K Street job after joining with the Democrats to implement all of President Obama’s priorities, that is not the behaviour one would expect of a Republican speaker of the House,” he said.
Regardless if Boehner is effectively out, it remains that the Congress cannot impeach and remove lawless Obama from the Oval Office, or remove activist justices from the bench, because the post-17th Amendment ratification Senate doesnt have a 2/3 conservative majority necessary to remove corrupt officials from office.
Also, the House also cannot exercise its unique, power of the purse clause (1.7.1) to stop lots of unconstitutional federal spending. This is because Obamas first, Democratic-controlled Congress wrongly passed the unconstitutional Stimulus Program and Obamacare laws, essentially making lawless Obama financially independent of Congress, thus defeating the purpose of the power of the purse clause.
Those tears will dry rapidly when he inks his big $$$ lobbying contract. Look for it to be announced during Christmas recess.
Too little too late. It’s all staged. Every bit of this.
There should have been mass resignations years ago. Once again they’re hoping those drooling in cups buy this concocted fraud.
And maybe pigs will fly. A true conservative could never get a majority of the GOP caucus to vote for them.
SWEET baby Jesus!
Beware to all on his way out, never turn your back to ‘im.
I suspect little in the way of ‘hurt’, having lined his pockets on the backs of the We the People all these years (and the ‘joy’ of having US pay his ‘retirement’ pension/healthcare/security/etc. for the rest of his miserable life)...Yep, that D.C. gig is BRUTAL
what’s wrong with a conservative jew or catholic?
did you know that 6 supreme court judges are catholics and 3 are jewish?
and both the majority leader and minority leader are also both catholic.
In a nation that is 46% protestant and only 20% catholic. Something is wrong with that.
the president is protestant, as is the senate majority leader
The president is a closeted sodomite muslim.
That is like complaining about the ethnic makeup in university admissions and trying to apply ratios. You in favor of that?
