During an interview with ABC News, Hillary Clinton apologized for using a private e-mail server during her time as secretary or state. Here are past statements where the presidential hopeful neglected to take personal responsibility for the controversy. (The Washington Post) After several weeks of relative dormancy, the story of Hillary Clinton's private e-mail server surged back into the news Tuesday night, with a trio of stories that suggest things are going to get worse before they get better (if they get better) for the former secretary of state's 2016 campaign.
Here's what we learned:
1. The State Department has, on the record, disputed Clinton's claim that her handing over of her e-mails was standard operating procedure, according to reporting from The Washington Post. In fact, State contacted Clinton in the summer of 2014 upon learning that she had exclusively used a private server to conduct business during her time as the nation's top diplomat. Asked about the discrepancy in Iowa on Tuesday night, Clinton told the Des Moines Register: "I don't know that. I can't answer that."
2. The FBI has succeeded in recovering work and personal e-mails from Clinton's server. That raises at least the possibility that the 50 percent of her e-mails that Clinton deleted as private could be combed through to ensure that the judgments made by her lawyers were the right ones.

The one thing I do know, at least from my perspective, is that the GOP establishment won’t be able to count on those millions of us who held our nose for McCain and for Romney.
Unless they nominate someone besides Rubio, Bush, and crew, they’ll certainly lose - again.
The Dream is Alive Ping
NO WAY IN HELL will I vote for Jeb. Yep, I held my nose for Romney and McCain, but there’s no way in hell I will pull the lever for Jeb, I just cannot do it. I’ll vote the rest of the ticket, but I will not pull that lever. I am sure I am not the only one.
We are in an uncharted area right now. Nothing in our history is going to prepare us for the next few years.
While it it is relatively easy to predict trends when things are stable, that is not the case today. As WWI changed the face of Europe. I believe WWIII will change the face of the world.
As the world leaders, each for their own reasons, allowed WWI to occur, I believe today’s world leaders believe they will be able to control the war that is becoming inevitable.
We will look back with fondness on these days when all we had to worry about was if Hillary would be indicted before she quit the race, or indicted after she quit the race. Those of us that survive that is.
That is 100 Percent correct!
You cant win without the base.
I changed the opinions in my family that you have to pick someone “who can win”.
I asked them how’s that worked for them?
I never see right wing papers saying what a dem candidate should or shouldn’t do to win.
Yet i see it constantly on the other side. They know a real conservative can win and they destroy them, or at least try.
“If she goes, it will have nothing to do with the emails, she will be pushed out because she cannot win the election.”
She belongs in prison because of her corruption and violation of security, but that is not why she might go to prison. The Obama syndicate wants to get her out of the way so he can put in his own “made” person. It’s the Obama syndicate vs. the Clinton syndicate, that is all. Obama made a few phone calls and suddenly the investigators are investigating instead of stonewalling. Obama made a few phone calls and “news” outlets that minimized what Hilllary did are suddenly producing detailed stories about her crimes. Obama has his phone and his pen. Does anyone doubt that America is a banana republic?
It seems yelling at the president to “call off his f—ingk dogs” didn’t work. In fact it probable pissed him off.
Judging from his alleged response ‘your troubles are of your own making” - probably the first time I actually agree with him.
I hope he lets them loose to nail her to the wall. i don’t think he EVER wants there to be a day when she is more powerful than him. She’s not exactly known to be forgiving.
That’s just it with her now I think. A leftover cabal of rancid, rabid, vile supporters and ghouls who’ll attack at the mere mention. But it all has no teeth, because there are more and more of them peeling off now heading for greener (and I mean GREENER) pastures.
Heck, they have to TELL everyone now exactly WHERE and WHEN (in the script) when she’ll be spontaneous for cripes sake.
IMO she’s still evil, but a debilitated husk of her former self.
I’m with you. Fauxahontas.
Gonna be tough to beat .
This looks like the picture perfect example of the “It’s easier to ask forgiveness than it is to get permission in the first place” mindset.
That strategy should not be successful when it’s used to mishandle State secrets and facilitate money laundering, etc..
That’s a great image of what we have to expect.
Trump would wipe the floor with her. The PC s**t won’t fly any more.
And she WILL be under indictment, by year's end.
Unless Hillary really pisses Obama off, prosecution probably won't be meaningful or successful. The point is not a conviction, or even a trial. The point is removal from the Democrat nomination.
I am so screwed.
Where is the indictment?
Trumps AG: “You have your choice of Islands Hillary. Rikers Island or Terminal Island.”
—— State learned——
State is a faceless entity
one wonders who at State learned and why the issue was raised. since hillary was “state” did Kerry do it?
None of this matters. She’s a Clinton and Clinton’s are above the law.
But they aren’t above pitchforks and torches!
Bill and Hillary Clinton are the penicillin-resistant syphilis of our political system.
