Only a day after Donald Trump announced that he was boycotting Fox News and after Fox News announced they had cancelled him first the network has announced that they will enter talks with Trump to discuss his concerns.
Below is the full statement, provided to Mediaite by a Fox News spokesperson:
Fox News Chairman & CEO Roger Ailes and Donald Trump spoke this morning and plan to have a meeting next week to discuss their differences of opinion regarding Foxs coverage of Mr. Trumps presidential campaign. Ailes will be joined by senior Fox editorial executives. Mr. Trump believes he has been treated unfairly in certain instances. FOX News has held every candidate in this race to the highest journalistic standards throughout our coverage. We believe a candid meeting about our differences is required and that any misunderstandings can be handled without compromising those standards.
Of course, the fact that Fox executives called his bluff to boost ratings makes them even more ridiculous.
Don’t get my hopes up you tease ;)
Fox News is scheduled for two more Republican primary debates and Fox Business has one. That just might have something to do with Ailes desire to meet again, recalling the first two debates drew around 24 million viewers, about four times as many as any previous primary debate. And everyone, even the Foxes, knows why those debates drew record audiences.
And Trump has a point. Why would any objective news outlet only discuss the one poll that showed a drop in support and ignore those that showed equal or greater support than before. And then the new Fox poll comes along later and shows Trump with a one point gain, Lol.
Thanks Aria.
There’s a strong likelihood a number of them would. I agree.
I agree.
Glenn Beck said last month or so that there are only two people allowed to call into Fox News. Rush Limbaugh and Donald Trump.
Well, that is a yes and no. He feeds on publicity. He gets it from FOX both good and bad. I think this should be put away and quickly, along with firing both Kelly and Krauthammer who seemingly is on an unannounced vacation at the moment along with Wil hopefully.
I agree Norm.
Sean Hannity is asking for questions via video concerning the 2016 Election. Here was my question I posted on Twitter:
@seanhannity #AskSean Sorry, I don’t know how to post a video. My question: Why can’t the MSM allow the people to pick their candidate?
Maybe the backlash led FOX to rethink their nonsense. I stopped watching FOX years ago.
Yes
Not what I’m talking about. Dissing Fiorina’s looks is an example that was way over the line. His mouth needs a filter because his polling negatives are in the 60% range and he’s got lots of people to win over.
Half a dream. the other half still wants universal health care. “Sorry Conservatives” is not a warm and fuzzy for me.
Facts are facts. Keep Trump in perspective or be a guy at the right wing Pillars of Styro chanting “Yes Don Can!”
If we don’t keep perspective folks, we have only projection to blame.
not sure why everyone tunes into see Trump in the debates. What exactly did he contribute to the last debates that had even an ounce of substance?
I guess as long as there are people willing to stare at a shiny ball and drool, networks are gonna cave to it.

Got to first sign-up for a free account, verify your email address, then log-in to YIPTV each time, search like heck for the OAN logo in a left-to-right stream of channel listings, and then watch in a small window or poorer quality full-screen.
You can pay $4.99/month and get best quality through Roku and other devices but the above info will help you to at least listen to OAN programs for free. Yer welcome.
It’s called ratings. Fox cannot afford to become Oreo cookies.
Norm, please repost that in a simpler form.
I’d like to understand your point a little better.
It’s Murdoch’s sons now, onyx. They’re the ones behind this impending catastrophe for FNC.
Old man Murdoch wants that Free Trade Bill passed and Trump is dead set against it.
FOX realizing the cost of lost viewers. If FOX got rid of Kelly I might reconsider being a serious viewer.
