You have two points in that sentence.
First, you say that Trump engages in personal attacks with anyone who dares question him. Not true. I have seen him questioned many times without a personal attack
Second - attack reporters, pundits, etc., who criticize him. As in George Will, Charles Krauthammer, Megyn Kelly who smear him under the guise of a question, and in the case of Will and Krauthammer, just smear him?
There is a difference in asking someone an objective question and asking someone a question that smears him.
Not figuratively. Literally. Isn’t it time to break the cabal of the Leftist cartel on news, education, and politics?
But look at his interview with Hewitt. There was nothing smear-like in the interview, but Trump got some criticism for his answers. And what did he do? Start belittling Hewitt, insulting him, etc.
It’s a consistent pattern. Make Trump look bad, in any way, and he hits back with personal, often childish insults. It happens over and over again.
Basically this...Trump will win nomination regardless of what you think.
I think you’re seeing it
If you noticed, during the CNN debate, Hewitt was mild as a baby lamb with Trump. Hewitt tried to embarrass Trump during his interview by asking names of terrorist leaders in middle-east, and found out the hard way it was foolish.
The result is fewer and fewer media people are trying to attack Trump during interviews. Example: Liberal host Colbert acted differential to Trump last night.

Two things need to happen. 1) somebody who believes in reporting “TRUTH AND VALUES” steps up and actually buys a news organization out from under this guy Murdoch and 2) decommission and dismantle the unconstitutional FCC (along with most of the rest of the cabinet departments) which is behind a lot of this mischief.
It doesn’t matter where you look. Some repressed adolescent adult is acting every bit like it’s high school and the prom is coming.
Business, politics, the park, McDonalds, Walmart checkout like, or Fox news’ anchor desk.
It is way past time for someone to fight back. I do not remember anyone doing that before. GO TRUMP!

How do you respond positively to accusations that you are crude, vulgar (George Will), dishonest, etc. (I’m too tired to continue the list.) You get what I mean. I can criticize what you say, and you can answer back. But if I start calling you names, and, most of all, accuse you of saying things you did not say, or twist what you did say into something you obviously did not mean, and you have limited time to respond, what strategy will you use? You know that an hour later someone who was listening will pick it up and amplify it through all the networks and before long it is set in concrete. You will take the most direct route. You will quickly point out my lack of ethics, etc.
Teacher Trump won’t come on our shows. Waaawaaaa! :-)

It’s politics, not bean bag. The stuff candidates used to say about opponents in the old, old days makes today look like playground taunting.
They were a lot harsher 100-200 years ago.

Correct, they use to kill each other. Maybe they should bring back dueling for politicians. They would not be so quick to spout off.
