New Poll: Republican voters bailing on Jeb in Florida, moving to Marco [both behind Trump]
Legal Insurrection ^ | 9/22/15 | William Jacobson

There are two big stories in a Florida Atlantic University poll of Republican voters to be released tomorrow.

The Orlando Sun-Sentinel reports, Poll: Marco Rubio pulls ahead of Jeb Bush in Florida; Hillary Clinton in trouble:

Marco Rubio has overtaken Jeb Bush among Florida Republicans, as he benefits from positive reviews of his performance in the most recent presidential debate.

A Florida Atlantic University poll to be released Wednesday shows Rubio, the state’s junior senator, is in second place in the Republican primary field in Florida. His political mentor, former Gov. Jeb Bush, is in third place.

Donald Trump, the real estate investor, former reality TV show host and part-time Palm Beach resident, is in first place among Florida Republicans, as he is nationally….

On the Republican side, Trump had 31.5 percent of the Republican primary vote. Rubio was second with 19.2 percent and Bush was third with 11.3 percent.

Ben Carson came in at 10.3% and Carly Fiorina at 8.3%

There’s some bad news for Democrats in the poll also. Hillary loses in Florida to Marco, Jeb and Carson, and is only tied with Trump.

Hillary Clinton, the frontrunner for the Democratic presidential nomination, is far ahead of Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders. But the survey shows she’d lose to Rubio, Bush and Ben Carson and tie with Trump in hypothetical 2016 general election matchups.

But the big news is that Marco has surged ahead of his in-state competitor, and is positioning himself in Florida as the Trump alternative. Since Florida is winner take all, there is a strong incentive for the non-Trump vote to unify behind one person, and that one person is looking like Marco.

Jeb is in trouble.

As the Republican donor class seeks someone to counter Trump, choices are going to have to be made. At some point things tip from Jeb to Marco.

And when donors bail on Jeb, it’s over.

He could have held the most powerful position in the world but got duped (or willingly agreed) into supporting amnesty.

I don’t think he was duped. I think EVERY politician wants foreigners overrunning our country, because even the so-called “conservative” Republicans loathe our country as much as Barack Obama and the Democrats do...it’s just that they have to get re-elected by the “Bubbas” to keep their cushy jobs.

Florida’s favorite sons can’t beat Trump combined. At home. In Florida.

Heartbreaking if true. And with this congress, it sure looks that way.

And when donors bail on Jeb, it’s over.

That's the truth. And Trump will destroy marko on immigration.

Now, if we can only convince Rubio of the obvious advantages of campaigning in Spanish.

Funny post. Both the blog (Legal Insurection) and the sourced article (Orlando Sun-Sentinel) basically ignore Trump.

(Rubio is really catching on now, and moving ahead of Bush. Yada yada... Oh, and Trump, the former reality star (not billionaire business man) remains in first place - by a lot.)

Cracks me up.

¡Yeb! The Joyful Tortoise campaigning in a foreign language to foreigners who can’t vote (legally) promising them amnesty for breaking into our country isn’t playing well, mmmmm, who would have guessed?

Rubberio is much more flexible, he’s now saying that he would secure the border before amnesty. Of course, he lies like a rug.
He lied to get elected.
He lied about what was in his Gang’s bill after scheming with Schumer and Durbin against the citizens.
He lied about changing his mind.
He still wants amnesty, but he now admits that they can’t pass it.

There is a reason for that.
We know that if we give up the rule of law, we lose our country.
American citizens have resisted the combined power of both parties, major corporations, almost all media, churches, unions, advocacy groups that have been propgandizing and pushing for another amnesty since 2006.
In truth they have been working for another amnesty since the last one.
We have not had the option of voting for anyone who would uphold the laws and stop the illegal alien inundation.

The American citizens literally melted the communications system at the Capitol when they tried to jam McCain/Kennedy through.
We unseated our Congressman, Majority Leader (weasel) Eric Cantor because he was about to shove Rubio’s Gang bill through the House.

Many more districts need to Cantorize their weasel.

The Cheap Labor Express owns way too many Congressmen and Senators.

IMHO, Marco would have been a very good candidate had he not thrown in with the amnesty crowd. But, it does show us where he stands, or at least, stood.

What’s great is that each makes a strong enough showing against the other that their egos will prevent each from agreeing to defer to the other to fight Trump, thereby splitting the anti-Trump vote and assuring him the whole 99 votes of the FL delegation. Even better, that winner take all was adopted by the GOPe to assure Jebbie an easy win. HOIST BY THEIR OWN PETARD!!x

That’s the really good part. They changed the rules knowing ¡Yeb! would have a hard time being nominated since Rubio failed to pass amnesty before the Presidential election. That was supposed to have been off the table already.
Us throwing Cantor out was a wrench in their plan.
I’m for Cruz, but I’ll be for Trump if he’s the only way to break the stranglehold the Cheap Labor Express has on the GOP.

Not bailing. Repositioning. Jeb didn’t have Florida locked up so Rubio’s whole purpose is to be a Jeb alternative to keep the anti-Jeb vote split.

Why did Rubio abandon his seat for a long shot presidential campaign? Because he would likely be Jeb’s VP nominee or possibly high level cabinet position like SoS.

Jeb: “illegal immigration is an act of love”.

Rubio: Father of the Gang of Eight Amnesty bill.

No one outside the narrow GOP elite circle is surprised that Trump is ahead of both in their home state.

Marco Rubio is the Personal Senator for the Slave Labor Billionaire Crowd. like Jeff Zuckerberg and Adelson and Murdoch family !

Rupert loves Marco because he is bought off cheap and a good liar.

Trump called him Zuckerbergs Personal Senator for his Non Stop H -1 Visas and Cheap Labor Express work in Congress

I will never vote for this Fraud again.

If I were the Republican Elite, I wouldn’t be creaming in my pants over Rubio, just yet. Trump has yet to UNLOAD on him, particularly given his DESPICABLE Amnesty push in 2013, after LYING to his supporters that he supported secure borders...in order to get elected to the Senate.

Rubio is a PATHETIC LIAR and if Cruz wasn’t of such great character, I would be TOTALLY DONE with ever trusting a Republican Hispanic again. I don’t APPRECIATE being double-crossed and therefore I don’t really give a dam about who I vote for, as long as it sends Rubio to the showers.
