The more important tactic Carson seized on was telling the truth about how he feels and letting the chips fall where they may.

Number 6 for now.

Is someone else getting in to the race?

What will you do if Trump chooses Cruz as his VP?

There are voters out there, that Trump can get, who Cruz would alienate totally. I've seen them react to him viscerally like he was a snake. They're white people, some union, who'd like to hang on to the last shreds of America.

But, but I thought Trump was slowly losing support. :-)

Difference of 20 points to the trailing second.

Anyone coming in second is designated "The First Loser".

He is the choice of the pi$$ed off,

Key words. His appeal is across all lines, which has the self-appointed elites flummoxed.

That being said, I have no desire to see him bow out before the primaries.

If Trump bows out, his supporters will fragment and probably go back to their base or not vote. The Establishment money will then flood back towards Jeb, who will tip-toe into the nomination with 10% and Hillary wins.

Rubio is a scary one. MSM has been ignoring the skeletons in is closet - they hope he will be nominated and the trash him.

Yes. He is the last bullet in the GOPe gun. He got crushed earlier this year, had two good debate performances and crawled back but still single digits.

Trump will be beholden to no one but himself and the voters, though anyone else who might win the nomination (for EITHER party) will essentially be owned by rich and powerful individuals and organizations who raise the thousands of millions of dollars of the necessary campaign “contributions”.

The Koch brothers, Rupert Murdoch, Tom Steyer, George Soros, and all the other billionaires are totally hosed if Trump is elected President because they’ll have no one to buy. Even Trump just being nominated means they’ll ALL be forced to buy the Democrat nominee, because that will be the only candidate on the auction block.

Well said, and needs repeating!

I guess you will not be heard from on voting day of primary in your state. Beer is still cheap!

My side (GOP) has ruined the country enough already. It is time to abandon all professional politicians and get behind “America First” Patriot named Donald Trump. Professional politicians have lied enough already. Doing the same thing and expecting different results is insane behavior.

I hope Trump-Carson finish 1-2 in most primaries. Such a vast improvement over career politicians.

That’s really what it is, but it’s also being in touch with the people and what they need and want. It’s real, but it’s also good for the campaign of whoever does it.

That doesn’t sound bad at all. I think I would prefer Trump/Cruz. Although I wonder if that isn’t a step too low for Cruz—his abilities would be wasted. The main advantage would be having a great person in reserve for the presidency.

“And that is what scares me.”

It scares you that the only person running who can’t be bought might win?

Yes, but have you noticed the MSM always labels him as a “conservative” favorite? It’s like they are trying to subliminally tell the fans on the left and in the middle, “This is the conservative pick. You don’t want HIM!”

The whole thing is really strange.

I come from a position of never watching TV. Everything I know I get from radio and the internet. It’s why I am no longer a fan of Medved.

I’m registered independent. I can’t vote in the primary.

When I left the R party, I put my money where my mouth is.

Hitler couldn’t be bought.

It is interesting to read the history of the 20th century’s despots and their rise to power. They were not always who they were in the end. They had much popular support from those truly pi$$ed at their system. Unfortunately, these people had to learn the hard way, the meaning of the phrase, “From the frying pan into the fire.”

Great. You can vote for Hillary or Jeb or Rubio. Cruz, unfortunately, won’t be able to be nominated.
