Paula Johnson, co-chairwoman of New Hampshire-based Women for Trump, used her personality and enthusiasm for the candidate to take over a segment of CNNs Legal View on Friday.
At issue was Donald Trumps town hall meeting Thursday, during which the Republican presidential candidate did not correct a questioner who said President Barack Obama was a non-American Muslim.
A lot of people ask a lot of questions of Mr. Trump, and since we dont have censorship there, it is his First Amendment right to ask the question, Johnson told host Ashleigh Banfield, adding that Trump gave an answer that were going to look into this.
Later, Banfield asked Johnson whether she wasnt troubled that Trump didnt correct the town hall questioner.
Why dont we get off of this subject already, Johnson said. I dont care what the president is. I look at people as, are they capable of running my country.
She then segued into a discussion of her candidates qualifications for office.
So, I feel that Mr. Trump is a very successful businessman, Johnson said. I think he has more of the qualifications to run this country.
When Johnson pointed out that the man at the town hall meeting had every right to ask whatever question he wanted, Banfield replied that Trump should have corrected the record at that point.
Well, let me ask you a question! Johnson shot back. What about when our president is disrespectful to the prime minister of Israel? Is that OK?
When the host replied that she didnt think Obama was disrespectful to Benjamin Netanyahu, the discussion quickly deteriorated into cross-talk among Johnson, Banfield, and Dean Obeidallah, another guest.
As Banfield closed the segment, Johnson continued denouncing Obama and lauding Trumps qualifications.
Liberal media outlets, describing Johnsons CNN appearance, referred to her as bonkers, but that could be because they never ran into someone as delightfully tenacious as she.

I think Trump is inspiring others to take on the journ-0-lists. This is a very good thing.
It appears the questioner was a Clinton plant. http://www.businessinsider.com/sane-guy-behind-trump-during-question-2015-9
The media is completely ignoring the question. The question was what Trump was going to do about the jihadi training camps, which Obama claims do not exist.
Squirrel!
The MSM think that anyone who doesn’t accept their world-view is deranged.

I knew that person was a plant the second the question came out of his mouth..poor Ashleigh Banfield, I am shocked she can even speak with her lips so firmly pressed against the Democrats behind
If you read the article, it’s patently obvious that isn’t the questioner.
Not the questioner. The guy behind the questioner. Read the post.
That guy was not the questioner. That guy was in the audience behind Trump shaking his head no while the question was being asked.
I watched this, the other day, and THOROUGHLY loved it.
This little lady was spot on....never gave up and showed the snarky CNN twit how it’s done.
CNN twit tried to slip in another gotcha about Clock Boy and Paula cleaned her clock on that too...even though Paula admittedly didn’t even know about it (at the time of this interview, it was still new news.)
Trump needs to hire Paula to keep the wolves away ;-)
I never understood what difference it made if someone was
a plant.
I’m more interested in how they answer the question.
Marko.
The point is he was a Clinton plant. It was the Clinton campaign which first raised questions about Obama’s background back in 2008.
If you look at the bottom of the article you will see that
I had already posted the YouTube link.

You don’t expect people to read the artcile do you? LOL....
Thanks for the posting......
Ms. Johnson STOOD HER GROUND.
The high and mighty no real jobbers at CNN,were engalmoured by a private citizen, with a brain and knew how to use it, let alone being a, a, a, woman!
CNNs Michaela Pereira..........referred to Obama as President Muhammad.
I think Paula Johnson is quite a spitfire. Those condescending CNN toadys are flummoxed anyone fight back. Go get ‘em, Paula
